Officials at the Winstar World Casino and Resort are pleased to announce the return of the World Long Drive Championship to the Winstar World Resort golf course for the second year in a row.
The World Long Drive Championship will be held from Oct. 6-12. In addition, Winstar hosted the World Long Drive qualifying round in May.
This year will be the second year that Winston-Star is hosting the World Long Drive Championship, which is broadcast globally. General manager Winston-Wayne McCormick said that he is looking forward to showcasing the Winston-Star World Resort golf course and the Golf Academy. 파워볼게임
McCormick said, "This is a great opportunity to showcase the WinStar Golf facility to world-class players and golf fans around the world," adding, "This is the culmination of a partnership between the Golf Channel and Long Driver in the United States."
Golf Channel recently announced its schedule for the 2016 World Long Drive season. Six dedicated long drive weekend qualifiers will be held for players in the Open and Masters categories. The first qualifying round took place at WinStar from May 12-14.
Each regional qualifying round will award three Open Division and two Masters Division players a berth in the 2016 World Long Drive Championship. Players who made it to the Open Division's Winstar games are Ryan Reisbeck, Troy Turquoise, and Eddie Fernandez. Fernandez has also participated in the Masters Division and its development.
Other qualifying matches and venues are the Bulls Classic at Gilead San Tillery Traditional Country Club, North Carolina; the Tennessee Shootout at Greaseburg Hills Golf Course, Greenville, Tennessee; the Bluff City Shootout at Memphis Golf and Game Family Park, the Rockwell Blast at Lakeside Golf Course, West Bountiful, Utah; and the mile high shootout at Park Hill Golf Club, Denver.
