Enter Agrabah

The desert wind blew harsh heated sand fragments fiercely at us...showing us no mercy or restraint. The wind was not cool or soothing...but hot and unwelcome. We'd been walking for some time after coming to this world...I had portaled us way too far from the city, yet I refused to admit my mistake. So we merely walked on towards our destination. I covered up my mistake by stating I didn't want anyone to sense our presence.

"AAAAGGGGGGHHHHHH......Ximh....curse you dammit...." Domix whined from far behind me. "You BASTARD....you know I hate this heat...come on....let's just portal there....seriously!!!"

"Quit being a wimp Domix." I mumbled...I was sure he couldn't hear me...not as far back as he was. "Let's just call this a bit of vengeance then, shall we?" I snickered.

He continued his whining and ranting...and as long as he was doing that I felt he had the energy to walk. Standing atop the tallest mound of sand yet, I could see it in the distance. Agrabah. From this distance it looked like a mere mirage...but I was sure that was it. I'd been to this town several times. More times than not it hadn't been pleasurable, I was sure this time would be no different. Sent to dispatch an egotistical ruler, he was probably some old fat noble with disillusioned aspirations of grandeur. As if he could ever amount to anything more than he already was. What? Ruling an entire world wasn't enough for him...I hated these types of mortals. Always taking for granted what they had. Wanting more...lusting and lusting until it destroyed them. Decaying them until they were just as shallow as their empty aspirations.

Suddenly I noticed how quiet it had gotten. Looking back quickly...Domix was face down in the sand at the bottom of the mound I'd climbed. "DOMIX!" I slid down the hill of sand to him and rolled him over.

"Heh...what's up Magni? We there yet?" Domix mumbled. He was sweating profusely...the heat WAS bothering him... "Yeah...I know it's cliché, but come on man, I hate that sun, it's so close here. It needs to learn to keep it's distance."

"I'm sorry Domix." I admitted feeling slightly bad now. I'd actually thought he'd been giving me a hard time. I had completely forgotten his intolerance for the desert...after all...he was Frost. He couldn't stand the heat and tried to avoid it if he could.

"Dude...apologizing makes you look weak. Knock it off." Domix rebuked and pushed me away from him. He attempted to stand...which only led to him keeling over again. This time he was unconscious.

Grabbing him by the back of his cloak I drug him behind me the remaining way to town. Luckily by the time I got there the sun was nearly down. Soon it would be night in the desert, I was sure Domix would be fine then. That was majestic part of the desert, so scorching and unforgiving during the day...and so cold and merciless at night. One could freeze to death in the desert at night.

At the gates of Agrabah I dropped Domix as I felt him beginning to move and wake up. He stood up and immediately turned his attention to his cloak. "AH! Look what you did Ximh?! Xerebus will tear me a new one if I try and wear this cloak...in this condition!! It's filthy! Did you HAVE to drag me like that?!"

"Well, I could've just left you...but I thought that would be cruel." I smiled. "But yeah...it was too hot for me to have to carry you. Besides, why in the world are your cloaks WHITE? You know how FAST I could stain that up with blood?"

"Hah hah...very funny. They are WHITE...because he thought he was clever contradicting YOUR Organization, numbskull." Domix stated sarcastically. He didn't look so bad now that the temperature was dropping. "Oh yeah...now this is more like it. Go away sun!" He shouted with excitement stretching his arms above his head. A few villagers cast him strange glances...but maybe they were looking at us both. We weren't exactly run of the mill visitors here.

As Domix took off his cloak and cast it through a portal, I stopped him from closing it. Taking my cloak off as well, I threw it through behind Domix's. At least now we were a little less conspicuous. Though it didn't really matter how we looked, we would do what we'd come to do...regardless on who got in our way.

"Hey Ximh...I say we take care of this dude tonight. Really, I don't wanna have to deal with that blasted sun again...let's just get this over with alright?" Domix spoke lowly, his eyes fixated on the huge golden palace towers. "It's not like we have to FIND him..." He laughed casting me that sarcastic smirk of his.

"Sure..." I spoke without thinking, my eyes were scanning the area from side to side. I didn't like the feeling I was getting. I knew Yamil wandered around this world...and I swore...if he got in my way I WOULD cut him down this time. I didn't have the patience for that man.

We made our way through the dying city streets. The market merchants packing up and moving out...most likely before the thieves and undesirables hit the streets. Finally on the other side of the square, the palace gates were right before us. There were guards, but they were nothing special.

"Wait until it's completely dark...then we'll make our move alright?" I conferred with Domix.

"Yeah, sounds good. Just as long as we don't wait until morning." Domix laughed. He was completely fine now...almost energized about being out of the sun.

Hopefully this mission would be as I planned, get in, get out...I didn't want a hassle with complications.
