I stared at Tanex, and he stared back at me. This was getting more awkward than I wanted.....Ever......Suddenly Tanex sighed.
"I'm sorry someone pulled this man," I started. "Look I didn't do it and I'm sorry......I was just here and you just kinda were here too and well.....I'm a ladies man...."
"A ladies man?" Tanex asked.
"Yep. I live to serve the beautiful ladies," I answered. "It's the only thing I live for....."
"And yet neither of us exist," Tanex smirked.
"Exist?" I asked. "So you're a nobody too?"
"Don't try that....Nobodies can tell each other apaprt. Don't even act like you don't know. It is disrespect to our species," Tanex said his voice starting to change to a dark malevolent tone.
At that second all my senses screamed for me to run. Turn and run and keep running until I could get away. I couldn't explain it, so I just shrugged it off and put my hands behind my head. There was no reason to panic.
"What does existing matter? I figure if I'm here it doesn't matter if I exist or not I'm here to enjoy life, that's just me," I answered.
Tanex gave me a look and then laughed. I laughed back, and we both continued laughing for a few minutes. The another awkward silence started.
"So are you just a ranodm nobody around here?" I asked.
"No," Tanex answered. "I belong to an organization that harbors nobodies."
What the- I though to myself. I don't think he's part of Organization Oblivion.....so....he's part of Organization Zero?...... I felt the need to hit the panic button again, but I just shrugged it off and smiled.
"Ah well I'm just a guy around here lookin for some ladies," I answered.
"That is seriously all you are obsessed with," Tanex smirked. "You need to widen your perspectives."
"And why would I want that?" I asked. "I'm pretty happy....well as happy as a nobody can be....doing what I'm doing now."
"What do you think of the state of the worlds?" Tanex asked out of nowhere.
"Woah man where did that come from?" I asked. "Why would I care abou the 'state of the worlds'? That's like asking 'what does water taste like?' Nobody really cares about the tasted but they ask the question any ways to confuse people."
"Stop beating around the bush," Tanex answered.
"Fine, heh. I think the worlds are just fine as they are," I answered. "Except maybe there could be more women....."
Tanex laughed and I laughed and then the awkwardness happened again.
"Well I better be off to find my girls. Sorry about the whole mix up man...." I started walking away.
"Ya I'd better go," Tanex answered.
I sighed lightly. I was happy about getting away from the gay guy but something else bothered me about him....I couldn't fully explain it. I took several steps away.
"Oh.....nice meeting you....Tamex of Organization Oblivion," Tanex's voice said calmly.
I turned around sharp and fast. Tanex was staring straight at me. I glared at him, and he glared at me. We both stood motionless waiting for the other to move.......
