Anyway, someone mentioned more than one avatar and the only thing I can imagine that would be good for is if members who belong to myO wanted to have one avatar for that site and one for here. But, I've no idea if that would be a hassle or not. I know I don't really care.

That probably means you just haven't satisfied the tier-requirements as established by the site. (Probably means not a lot of commenting on main-page or fan-submissions, although I can't be sure.) No biggie, really.

Plus, I barely even see the titles as is. I usually skip from the Username straight to the comment, without worrying about "status". Granted, others may not, but I'm just saying that the title means basically nothing to me.

This kinda reminds me of Deviant Art with their paid memberships...if you're trying to lure people into getting it, allow a lot more customization on their Worlds pages...things like more pictures, thumbnail options (like being able to link your thumbies to your fan arts or wallies), allow music, more videos, etc. Not only on their World pages but in their comment boxes as well. I'd love to see some more avi choices like (sorry for comparing so much to it) look at DA...they have 100's of smilies to chose from...even though almost all of them are free I'm pretty sure they have a few that are only for subscribers.

What kind of payment options to you envision aside from credit cards?

That question is posed partially because I have a healthy distaste for them at all, and like to be able to pay with money I already have.

I'm not sure if I'd want one or not, a premium account that is. I do like the idea though, for people who want more features. ^_^ But, I don't even know what to ask for since other than the ads, I'm already happy with what I get.

Kyaaaa!! I'd totally pay $30 just to have a cupcake next to my name!! XDDD I'm seriously going to consider this, but...

I think there are 2 reasons why only about 1% (as u say) of the ppl are gonna sign up for this:
1. Identity theft. Everyone is worried about it, one group in particular, and I cant honestly blame them for it.
2. Parents. I'm pretty sure a good portion of the ppl on this site still live with their parents, who usually control the credit cards. It also happens to be that the 'particualar group' I mentioned in #1 are the parents, so... its like two problems in one

I guess we'll just have to see what happens...

For now, let me just celebrate the fact that one of my theories that I mentioned weeks ago was actually correct. The theory where the cupcakes were a sign of Adam giving us a new gift (or new features), and that Adam was behind all of this cupcake drama.

There is absolutely no reason that anyone couldn't have a paypal account. If you're concerned about tying it to a bank account then don't.

Oh I am not worried about using it, I would just have to get permission from my dad, since it's his account.
But with the paypal accounts don't you have to be 18 to get one? I am sure over 3/4 of the people on here are under 18, they would have to have their parents do it.

Uh. Unlimited submissions for the art sections, multiple avatars, adjustable titles, colored fonts, more freedom with posting in our worlds as far as photos and videos go...

And I'm sure I'll think of more.

Probably won't be able to subscribe for financial reasons, but one thing that people would probably want is the ability to toggle between multiple icons. And maybe the ability to make a customized title...? 8D

I'd like the idea of not seeing annoying adds anymore on almost every page. But I don't think I'd pay since nor would I know what to use to pay with. Like some people said, would we use PayPal, because I really don't even know what that is.

Seriously though, I like having no ads or more things showing up on a page. Like browsing the wallpapers, having twice as many show up on the same page would be nice. I'm sure I'll think of other stuff later on.

Titles indicate longevity more than prestige to me, and a "premium" icon as a cupcake hardly seems offensive or elitist. It's just another doohicky. =P And more to the point, the exact name of the title is specific to the site; I've seen some sites that go through much more varied and possibly more oddly-connotated titles than here, and people really don't seem to mind.

So I don't really see a point in getting snitty over who has what title and who doesn't. A cupcake is a cupcake, and high-school social-status drama shouldn't apply.

My favorite thing by far when it comes to a paid service is the removal of annoying adds. ^_~ The cupcakes are just a cute addition to go along with it. If I think of other things to add to this part here:

I'm with master hiko and timechaser on PayPal though, would like to avoid having to transact through them if at all possible, and I'd like to have at least a hint of what premium offers so I can decide for myself if it's worth the investment.

I appreciate the new features but I wuld like this site to be fixed before they appear, or at least I'd liek to know thaty it is being looked at around all these negotiations!
