The Prophecy of Othello

For Othello, he seemed to be enjoying this game the pathetic human Jack betted his life on. He felt like he was going to win, until Jack knew how to break the tie-breaker.

"Othello, let's end this right now." Jack then pulled out some red dice, "You roll the dice to seal my fate. Even number, I'm immortal. Odd number, I lose my life." Othello wanted to kill Jack immediatly, since he had another dead man to collect in about an hour, so he grabbed the dice and shook it real hard. When he threw the dice, everything started to be in slow motion. Jack was chewing on his finger nails and Othello was smirking. "No one can beat the devil, Othello. Nobody!" Othello thought. He then dropped his jaw at the sight of the final play... Snake Eyes.

"What!?" Othello yelled as Jack cheered with joy. Now Jack could have immortal life. Othello, even though when he was once alive he was in New Orleans, he never goes back on his word. He granted Jack eternal life forever. Yes, things would seem to be better... if Othello hadn't looked at the mirror just when he was about to leave.

"So long, Jack. You've won fair and-" Othello didn't get to finish his sentence when something caught his eye; his reflection.

A large, tall man with chubby cheeks, a bald head, and brown cloth skin which various bugs crawled on it looked back at Othello in the mirror. Hadn't he turned around, he would've noticed that the dice he threw was rigged, making the resuki Snake Eyes no matter what. It didn't matter now. Othello was furious.

"Jack, look what you've done to me!!!" Othello cried out as he slammed his fist onto the wooden table. He started to cry silent tears and muttered, "I'm a monster, I'm a monster..." While this misunderstood devil was having a moment, Jack could only chuckle softly.

"It's too late now. Since I won, you remain like that for eternity," Jack spat out the word 'that', "Now whenever you send someone to heaven, you would eat them. No longer would death be peaceful any longer. It's your curse..." Jack laughed some more. "How's this... this horrible situation... funny?" Othello asked himself. Then he growled and started to grab Jack by the shoulders. Jack went back to being scared for his life.

"But I won! We made a deal.... can't you just take a joke?" Jack protested, his smile still on his face. Othello couldn't stand that creepy, smiling face anymore, so he glared.

"This ain't a joke, kid. Have you realized what you've done!?" The tall moor let Jack go, "I know we made that bet, but you would have to pay the price..." Othello went to grab his sythe.

"That isn't fair!" Jack yelled.

"Life ain't fair, so deal with it. From now on, I don't want to see your face for eternity!" With that said Othello aimed the sythe at Jack.

"No... stay back, Othello, stay back...." Jack backed up towards the wall, shaking his hands, "No... no... NO!" Othello swung the sharp weapon at Jack's neck and the prankster's head fell off as a result. Smirking, Othello walked out of the insane house in silence...
