his face. Mr. Hibiki puts his hand on Kurt’s shoulder. “Wait, it’s better if I talk to you somewhere where there is more room.”
“Like where?” Kurt asks.
“Wait, first I want to know if you’re parents are ok with you going somewhere else, are they expecting you home soon?”
“Huh, oh no I’ll call them now and say to expect me a little later” Mr. Hibiki looks a bit shocked. “Hey, if you want you can call and tell them that you’re borrowing me for a little while.”
“You make it sound like you’re a doll or something, but I guess there’s no harm in me speaking with them.” Kurt adds
“yeah, should be no harm.” Mr. Hibiki dials the phone and begins to speak to Kurt’s mother. “Um, Mrs. Reyes? This is the vice Principal Mr. Hibiki about your son…”
“Oh dear God, what did Kurt do this time! He better come right on home and get the whipping he deserves for whatever he did!” Hibiki just waits in silence for a few seconds. “No, no he didn’t do anything. I’m just calling to see if it’s alright if I kept him for a bit longer to talk to him.”
“To talk to him? Well, I guess that’s alright, you’re not going to do anything else?”
“No ma’am I’ll have him back in one piece, ha ha ha. Although you may want to look at his knee if you haven’t already, although his knee getting hurt apparently happened yesterday."
“Honestly though it wouldn’t hurt that boy to learn some discipline.”
“Funny, that’s exactly what I was going to talk to him about, well then good bye don’t worry he’s in good hands.” Dan hangs up the phone.
“So, now that you’ve talked to my parents where are we going?”
“We’re going to the park right next to the school”
“Oh yeah the spot where people who skip class go…” Kurt replied with an uneasy smile.
Dan and Kurt then left the school; all the while Dan saying nothing and Kurt staying quiet as well yet his mind was full of questions.

At last Dan stopped; in an exceptionally secluded area of the park. Kurt looked around and said “I see we’re particularly out of people’s ways, what do you have planned?”
“Well, that’s because of who I wanted you to meet. He prefers no one else to be around”
“Who is it that I’m supposed to meet then?” Kurt asked.
“Just wait.”
“Wait? Wait for what?”
“Just wai- …seems he’s here already I know that ki anywhere, seems he’s gotten much stronger too.”

As Kurt starts to stare out in front of him he begins to see some movement in the forested area. A muscled figure starts to emerge from the heart of the area, as it gets closer Dan starts to have a bigger and bigger smile on his face. Kurt starts to stare more intensely and notices small things about the figure as it gets closer and closer such as it being barefooted and that it must be wearing something like a very long headband because of how it’s flowing as he walks. Finally, the figure gets close enough to be soon fully. As he got closer Kurt’s eyes opened in disbelief “that’s, that’s…”
