“That’s Ryu” Dan said as he looked at Kurt trying to calm him down. The figure now revealed to be Ryu stops in his tracks and looks at Dan. Dan then shoves aside Kurt saying “stay back, far back”
“What’s going on?” Kurt asks
“You’ll see.” Replies Dan who begins to smirk.
With that Ryu rushed to Dan. “So fast” Dan said. Dan then decided to throw a seiken punch before Ryu could do anything but Ryu parried it then Dan thought he could blow back Ryu with a technique he has honed since the days he first met him. Dan pulled his arm back with his palm open and soon it started to glow. “Whoa, what is that?” said Kurt.
“Gadouken!” Dan yelled as he fired a blue ball from his palm. Ryu sidestepped it and after he saw it hit the tree 20 feet behind him he nods at Dan approvingly. Dan then immediately steps in and bent his knees putting his fist at waist level and starts to pump it up. “Oh man he’s going to do it!” Kurt said with glee. Ryu smirks and begins to do something very similar.
“You’re not going to be able to hit me with it I’ll do it before you do.” Dan states.
“Let’s just see” Ryu says.
“Koryuken!” Dan’s fist shoots up and so does his body but before his fist reached Ryu’s chin, Ryu screams
“SHORYUKEN!”
“Amazing!” Kurt says in complete awe. “That fist, the shoryuken it was even more amazing than all the stories!”
“Alright that’s enough, you win Ryu”
“You’ve gotten a lot stronger Dan.”
“I said the same thing about you when I felt your presence.”
“Who is the kid?”
“He’s the one I wanted you to meet, this kid is very interested in the martial arts, and in you especially”
Kurt just stares in awe at Ryu. Ryu walks closer to Kurt. Ryu then takes a good look at Kurt at Kurt just continues to be in total awe.
“Kid, I’ll be honest that look you’re giving me reminds me of myself at your age.”
"Wow, are you serious?"
"Yeah it reminds me of the time I saw my master Gouken display his skills." Ryu asks Kurt, "Have you had any previous martial arts training?"
"Well, I've had a little bit of training in karate, I only went up to yellow belt then I couldn't keep going"
"Do you wish to continue in the martial arts?"
"I wish to devote myself to it!"
"Oh?" Ryu says and he immediately put a calm smile on his face. "You know what, if you'll accept me I'll take you as my pupil bit first..." Ryu looks at Dan. "Hey Dan! I leave him in your hands! Teach him the basics and get him prepared for how we train, then come find me."
"Most definitely I'll be your pupil! I'll train hard until I meet you again!"
Ryu then walked away.
Dan walked up to Kurt and said "so I guess I'm your sensei, we'll have to figure out a schedule for your training"
