This is a little something for fellow fans of Lavi/D. Gray-Man fanfiction (I know you're out there - whoop show me some looove X3) These two fics are my all-time favorites. They are really well written. I recommend not only them but the writers's other work as well (especially Novelist Pup's other stuff, he's amazing!). I was thinking of asking him if I could make "Any Way You Wanty It" into a fanmanga, but unfortunately I have realized my skills are not adequite enough ;< lol. Anywaaaay.... Here they are:
"Any Way You Want It" - In AU 1985 U.S. A band is looking for a new member, and young Brit Allen Walker just happened to be a good piano player. Now meet the band newly dubbed Black Order, with it's extremely antisocial and pottymouthed (is that even a word!?!?) yet extremely talented guitar player Kanda Yuu and his guitar Mugen, perverted and weird drummer with a great sense of beat - Lavi, and amazing and boy crazy (ok not really lol) singer Lenalee, as they encounter many crazy characters and plot twists that manage to be amazingly parallel to the actual D. Ufff... Ok here is the next one. Also really well researched and beautifully written (haha am I being biased? :3) fanfic called "Bookman" by Dhampir72. Have any of you wondered how Lavi met Bookman and what happened to the two of them before they entered the Black Order. Well this story can illustrate that better than most. It seems so authentic I have to remind myself it's just a fanfic, but I'm sure if Hoshino-sensei read it she would aprove :3 Some drama, some angst, some humor, a lot of adventure with a great supernatural twist. I loved it (I can almost hear you say - noooo really *eye roll* :3 haha). Ok ok. This one is more of a review than a summary but hey I try. Here is the link:
