Damn it's been a while since I last posted. So, what's been happenin'?
Both A-ko and I have been signed on full for the next nine months or so. Meaning, I get to stay in Germany quite a bit longer, baring any change in strength regulation. Not all that bad, now that we are considered full active duty, we can cash in our leave time starting next year and maybe take a trip. I suggested Ireland since that is the only other country in my heritage I haven't visited. A-ko liked the idea. Though I couldn't convince her of having at least one drunken Irish day while we are there. ^-^
Finally saw the preview for Avatar and I so think that it will spawn a new generation of Furries. A friend of mine back home agrees. Other than that, I think it has some potential for being the winter hit.
A-ko, bless her soul, has been none stop trying to get me into the Twilight books and movies. I tried watching Angel once and found it bile inducing. Twilight, is like Angel on melodramatic, angsty, wanna-be cool crack that tries way too hard at appealing to the raving fangirls of the teen scene.
Now I am not saying melodrama is all that bad, being a huge Marimite fan, but even I have my limits. And with the new movie out and the "oh so hot" werewolf in it, I can only say the same thing I say to Fruits Basket fangirls. "Just because they are in human form, doesn't mean you aren't a furry."
Again, I have nothing against the Fruits Basket series, I just don't go squealing over the guys like a raving lunatic.
Damn it's late. I'd say I'm off to bed soon, but I'm just on break, using A-ko's laptop. We've got another 10 hrs till our shift is up. So peace out and if I don't come lurking around to tell you later, Merry Christmas.
