At least the sky is beautiful.
I've known since I started my life as an assassin that I'd have to face my past. I just didn't think it would be so soon. This gates, this stench, I know what awaits me beyond.
The mission is simple, get in and kill the only other man in the dungeon. When Vinny gave me the mission, he made it quite clear he knows of my escape. He didn't say it outright, but his allusions were quite evident. I'm not scared that he knows or anything. He has his own secrets. But if he knows, then who else might? Has that mean knight told others? Was I seen leaving? Or, is this Sithis guy actually real?
Much of the path that I'd used before was still open and clear, but once I left the sewers, and entered the actual secret path... It would seem that the knights have taken to patrolling here.
I wonder if it's irony.
I have learned a few new tricks since starting y new job so I was able to hide my presence well enough. But I can't help feeling nervous. The knight from that night is here. What would he do if he sees me? I'm still unsure of how the Brotherhood would deal with me if I go and get arrested. I have a hunch that I'll end up like my old dungeon mate will. Dead and forgotten.
