As for my first anime I think that it was the original Dragon Ball. It is very debatable, because I started watching it alone with several other anime and I am sure that there were some even before (like I remember watching this mecha one before similar to transformers), but I go traditionally with Dragon Ball. I watched it back when I was six years old and liked everything about it!

It's Dragon Ball! (*´・ｖ・) I watched it when I was a little kid.

I discovered anime around age 8 and I think the first one I watched was one called Sugar the Snow Fairy, then stuff liked Fruits Basket and Inuyasha. <---don't know what I was thinking watching that at such a young age x.x

Sailor Moon was one of my firsts too :D

Well when I saw Saint Seiya it wasn't called like that because the anime was in spanish, the name is "Los Caballeros de Zodiaco" (Knights of the Zodiac) it guys that fight and they have this shiny armors that represent the zodiac and constellation *3*

And I'll totally check that anime, I haven't seen any anime lately and I think I want to watch something cute X3 being watching too many scary movies and shows ಠ_ಠ

The first anime ever was probably Pokemon. ;) But the first animes I KNEW was an anime was Case Closed, YuGiOh! and Tokyo Mew Mew

I think this is one of the questions I was asked in my voice meme, so I'm going to put it in spoiler tags, so as not to ruin it for the people who are participating in my voice meme (which is still open for questions). Anyway, my answer is Sailor Moon.

Hmmm, the first anime I watched (though I didn't know it was called Anime) was Sailor moon. I don't really remember very much about it, but I do remember that I really liked it ^__^
The second one was Inuyasha, and I still enjoy rewatching it at times. :) You're posts aren't annoying or very long for that matter. I enjoy reading them, and I'm sure many others do as well!

The first anime I've watched is Naruto. Which was introduced by my cousin when I was 7 or 8! Then it was Bleach, Kanon, K-On, etc.

As for the answer to your question the first anime that I watched was Saint Seiya, I think I was in third grade, I still remember that they showed it very early like 4:00 - 5:00 am and because my mom worked at the school me and my twin sis attended we had to woke up early so the first thing we watched was that series, we didn't know it was "anime" till a couple of years later when they started to show more anime shows on weekends(Orphen, Rurouni Kenshin, Slam Dunk and Ranma 1/2) I never got the chance to see Onegai My Melody but looks like it's really cute.
