Hi!! Welcome to my world of melodrama!! I hope you enjoy you time of wonderfulness here!!!! YAY!!!
(sorry, I'm hyper...) Here are some random facts about me:

1- My username (mijmo) is a cross between my favorite fruits basket character, (Momiji) and my nickname (Elmo).

2- When I was a baby, I was scared of the dark, fireworks, and bagpipes.

3- Whenever I have a meal that has potatoes in it, I eat the potatoes last.

4- My biggest fear is that when I grow up I'll forget how to be a kid.

5- English is my first language, but I also speak French (though not as well).

6- I love to sing! My second greatest fear is that someone will stop me from singing.

7- Winter and summer are my favorite seasons.

8- My birthday is in September.

9- I love wind, fog, and snow.

10- My favorite subject is english.

11- My favorite animals are penguins and new Caledonian crows.

12- If I could have three wishes, I would wish for: world peace, That I could talk to animals, and that all my friends and everyone I know would be happy.

13- I have Hazel eyes.

14- My motto is: Smile. You are loved.

Hi again!

Hi everybody! (at least, everybody i think exists. Nobody ever comments, so how can I be sure?
I have recently experimenting with photoshop, and have discovered that if you scan lineart, you can colour it in photosop! This may not be a big deal to some, but for me it is revolutionary in the face of my marker shortage.

I have prepared a quote for you on the subject of the current flu pandemic. I wrote it when I had a cold a few weeks ago, but I was a bit busy, you know, being sick, so here it is now.

-What do you want from me, cold germs? My life? My sanity? You're welcome to them, just leave my nose skin colour and my forehead room temperature. Which isn't happening.

have any of you, my loyal readers who I hope exist, been sick? Have you felt the burn of sandpaper-like tissues on raw nostrils? The feeling as you lay, noodle-like in your bed, unable to sleep, but with the knowledge that without sleep you will be no better? I have. (you can tell I haven't posted lately, because my creativity is all pent up.)

So farewell, my exultant followers, I know you exist, even if in some alternate universe. I'm sure you read, and understand, and reflect upon all that my fingers type, improperly and miss-spell-idly, on your screen. Farewell, and may the drawing gods smile upon you, may you find inspiration in a tree, or flower. May you find love, and happiness. Happy Halloween everybody! I hope the candy gods were kind!I got quite a lot of candy. What're your favorite candies? I like kit-Kats and Twix.

Birthdays...

It was my birthday recently, and though I can't say how old I am, (privacy issues, you know) I can still talk about birthdays. Though they are joyous times, they are still sad, because they mark the passing of time, the grains of sand trickling down the metaphorical hour glass, if you will. I am small for my age, and as such can pretend to be younger if the need arises. I'm not exactly sure how the need might arise, but one must be prepared.

I can't give any hints as to my age exept that I have a gosh darned lot of homework that I should be doing right now instead of this, but oh well.

I think it would be nice if we could choose 1 day in the year to celebrate, like our birthday, but it could be something else, like the day you said your first word, or walked, or learned to ride a bicycle. Though, I suppose, if you wanted, it could be when you emerged, wet and crying, into this world.

That's my philosophy on birthdays for this year, and I will try to post again soon, though it'd be sooner if that homework would disappear. I don't think it will.
