My darlings, welcome to Momma Love's Movies with Momma Love! You see, I've always wanted to do movie reviews and such but my friends always say that I'm stupid for trying because I don't know movies. Trust me, I've seen a ton of movies. Sure they're not diverse but I know the difference between good and bad. So, here is where I will tell you which movies you ought and ought not see. I know that won't stop some of you from going to the movies and seeing these horrible things but, if you go, see it in 2D. There's nothing more disappointing that seeing a terrible movie in 3D, you waste money and you waste precious time.

WARNING THERE WILL BE MAD SPOILERS IN THIS WORLD SO READ AT YOUR OWN RISK! I'LL TRY TO KEEP SPOILAGE TO A MINIMUM FOR MOVIES IN THEATERS BUT OTHER THAN THAT I WILL CONSIDER IT FREE GAME!

Without further adieu, welcome to Momma Love's Movies!

Next Review: Les Miserables (2012)

Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas (1993)

Let's start with a classic, shall we? And a personal favourite of mine ;) So, here we are with The Nightmare Before Christmas, an innovation in studio production with its unique artwork and storyline + stop motion animation, the story behind this "children's movie" is adorable and relatable for all ages. If you're looking for your next Halloween tradition, I suggest that it starts with microwave monster s'mores and ends with a gathering of friends to enjoy this classic for years to come. I know that's what I'll be doing this Halloween ;)

Scare Rating: 6/10, though it's a children's story, the scenes with the Boogeyman are terrifying 0___0

P.S. What do you think about the banner? Eery or just uuuuuuuuuugly? Thoughts!

Preparing for October!

Hey guys! I'm getting ready to have an October Special (there will be a February special announced in January as well) and I'm here to ask for your help! I want you to give me your favourite Halloween/Supernatural (when I say Supernatural I'm talking ghosts, werewolves, vampires, witches, and not Horror, I'm terrified of those) movie and I'm going to review ALL OF THEM. That's right, all of them. I'm hoping to have 31 (more would be amazing), one for each day, and if I don't review one a day I'll figure out what I'm going to do. Here are some I'm already planning on doing:

Teen Wolf
Underworld
Nightmare Before Christmas
The Twilight Saga

So, 27 more people! Give me your favourites and I'll slave from now until October 31st to make banners, watch movies, and fry my brain! This is me pretty much doing a challenge (for myself) seeing as I'm still an O+, not an O++, so challenge me! Give me movies I've never heard of, give me pop culture hits, give me the gore, give me the shrieks, I WANT IT ALL. You know I'll love you forever if you do ;D

xoxo, Momma Love

I'll be taking requests until October 1st (unless I don't have enough then I'll keep it open until the 31st)! Random date. I also will more than likely not do the movies in order, I'll try to do by date, or something... FOOD FOR THOUGHT.

Love You All - LYA.

EDIT: My definition of Supernatural (this time around): Werewolves, Vampires, Ghosts, Witches, Goblins, Ogres, Frankenstein like Abominations, Headless Horsemen, Pretty much everything people imagine when they think Halloween, Rebecca Black.

EDIT 2: So I have a list of movies I've gathered so I technically have 31 movies already but I'd still like to get requests since it's WHAT THE PUBLIC WANTS! Love ya's!

Promo: Silver Linings Playbook

Another addition to my resume as a movie reviewer, promoting movies I think are going to be great <3 Jennifer Lawrence and Bradley Cooper star in a comedic romance where they're both damaged in their own way, with no one, and they seem to bond over that. Besides, Jennifer Lawrence is magnificent and every movie she's been in has been magnificent (I'm thinking about reviewing Winter's Bone, one of those independents that not many people know about but it was just so goddamn fantastic). Definitely a must see.

I love the face she makes, "Yes, I reeeeeally want to go."

Stick It (2006)

A personal favourite of mine! But I'm going to review it anyway because it's technically a bad movie. Here we go!

Stick It is... well... the protagonist carries the movie. Any scene that doesn't have Missy Peregrym in it is just plain painful. Even though it's still a favourite of mine I have a hard time getting through it. The narration is witty, the stunts are amazing, but the side characters are obnoxious and awful. Jeff Bridges plays an entertaining headstrong coach that clashes with Missy's character, other than that... there's no character that's redeemable. I guess the best friends are funny... anyways, I suggest Stick It to a slim few, if you liked the Bring It On series you'll probably like this. I still love Stick It. Don't judge.

Did I remain mostly objective?

Spider-Man 3 (2007)

Spider-Man 3, the end to the first trilogy of Spider-Man. Every nail biting moment comes down to this... THE ULTIMATE FLOP...
