I understand that some people might think that this is weird, but seriously. I'm an otaku. This is just about as real as a human with a human.
The reason why I like them so much is because of the fact that Rem is so devoted to just making Misa happy, even going so far as to kill himself for her. (Yes, it's a spoiler. No, i'm not saying it. If you've seen the series, you catch my drift.)
The fact that he's so devoted just....I love it. I love them. I ship them.
