finished ch. 2, and the first section of ch.3 in math. i then went to subway, bought a footlong for dinner later, and got a bowl of soup for lunch. then i went back to the base, went to the library, and worked on my french. turns out the library has Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets(that's the second one, right?) in french. so i got it, and the english version. i'm going to try to translate a few paragraghs at a time, then check the english one to make sure i got it right. and read the french out loud, to help with my pronunciation.
went to work, and had a great time, actually. there was a new girl, training. after a bit, i asked her how she liked being a grocery bagger, and she said it was great, and that she liked it. jasmine and i looked at each other, and said, it won't last, then laughed. there are some few days, when the job is enjoyable. but it is a LOT of hard work, being on your feet all day, and dealing with people. some customers are so rude. they look down on us because of what we do, and treat us horribly, and tip even worse. which sucks. because we don't get wages. it's a tips only job.
did the oral assignment for french, and turned it in. now i only have 2 more oral, and 2 more written due on the 28th, and then test 1.
