So today i got up and went to one of my favorite middle schools. The class was a bit chatty at first, but the. We popcorn read the chapter out loud (it was a small chapter) and they had fun popcorn-ing. I hadnt taught science before, so it was fun to try something new. Thats one of the things i love about being a substitute teacher. Yes, a full time position in my subject area would be nice, but i love getting to experience all the other subjects. And being with the kids was so refreshing. I left there felling awesome and recharged. Then i got a text from one of the vampires at lodging, throwing a hissy fit about something i had done to help her out, but now theyve decided thats a no no. So im in trouble again. Yay. :( they make a rule, we start following it, then they decide to change the rule without telling anybody, and then we're in trouble. Theyre so bipolar there, i hate it.
But i did have a productive afternoon so far. I went on a walk with mom outside, its so nice right now. Then insat outside with the cats and let them play. Took a nap, and ive finally watercolored reynas corgi drawing. Ill try to post a pic of it tomorrow, its super cute. And since i got all of this weeks crocheting done last night, i can spend the rest of tonight and this week drawing and working on my comic.
Another tidbit of goodness, i finished the third harrypotter book. David said he was going to put some more in my locker tonight. Hopefully tomorrow if the vampires arent all foaming at the mouth, i can start the fourth book during my down time.
