I don't need a scabbard to sheathe my mind

* The post title is a quote taken from "The twelve kingdoms" anime. It's been in the back of my mind from when Ichigo reviewed it on AP and after downloading it I always seemed to have other things to see instead, haha. I'd definitely recommend it to pretty much anyone. It's a shame they didn't tie up some loose ends but other than that there's nothing major to complain about. Though beware of some major angst in the beginning.

Man, now I really feel like writing more about it but at the moment I don't have the energy ^^; Maybe in a future post :o

* Speaking of anime, I've amused myself by putting tags to the ones I've watched on My Anime List. I even tried to be creative with some series *snickers*

* Misread something while cashiering: "Smoking damages both you and your crotch" xD!!!

* Bought and watched "The Incredible Hulk" with Edward Norton. When it was first announced he'd be playing the bulky greenster I admit to being dubious, seeing as it's a visual effects comic character and I couldn't squeeze Ed into that box. But because it was Ed I hoped that he'd be able to make it work somewhat. And he sure pulled through, which became even more apparent while going through the dvd-extras. It was so awesome to hear him take on the ripped shorts of the Hulk and not do it the easy way, but rather be incredibly involved and help make it into a serious movie ... while also being very fun to watch ^_^ Seriously, a character called ABOMINATION!!! lol

Oh, and one more thing, that surpasses even that: "HULK SMASH!" *dies laughing*

* Finally got around to see "Batman - The Dark Knight". When everyone was busy hyping up Heath Ledger's Joker to Oscar buzz-levels I couldn't help but wrinkle my eyebrows and question the legitimacy of it all. Did they make his performance into more than it was simply because of his tragic passing? Once again I was happily proved wrong. Talk about intense acting, immersed characterization, believable approach and execution. Yes, his performance truly deserves to be nominated and would justly deserve a win. Bravo.

Though it was really saddening how the movie was such a downer O.o Psychologically/mentally, I mean. Gordon killed (boy did my heart rejoice when it turned out to be faked) Rachel offed (seriously expected her to return, half-surprised when she didn't, guess she served her part), Harvey tormented and offed (brilliant character, btw), Batman pissing off not only the town further but Lucius too?! The way it kept building and building really made me wonder just where another movie would take things. Or start off, for that matter.

* Dad bought me "Wall-E" :O! Can't wait to see it.

* I'm craving ice-cream in a cone ~d:
