By the way, I'm rewriting this story for my brother, so I'm sorry if the story gets a little stiff.

Once, not so long ago, seven magicians from every corner of the universe came together to create the ultimate power. But they all had different opinions of what was the ultimate power.
One thought controlling earth was best, another, becoming invisible, another, invincible, and another thought controlling and breathing under water was best. One, who had lost loved ones to murderers, thought revenge would be good, and he deemed becoming a fire breathing dragon best. Another thought that true power lay in the future, so he wanted to travel through time. And one, who was mightily greedy, said that his desired power was to conjure up money out of nowhere.
This argument resulted in a huge conflict, which ended up a war. This war continued for many hundreds of years, for none of the magicians could die, nor would they give up their opinions for the vote. It continued until the greedy magician was struck down in battle. As his life force sapped out, he gave a mission to his eldest son, to keep fighting for what was right. However, as soon as he was dead, the son absorbed his father’s magic abilities, and with this almighty power, he thus ended the war and assumed command as king of the magicians.
However, when he next saw the magicians begin to fight again, he offered a useful idea. Instead of just one power, they should make all of the powers they desired and to bond them into an inanimate object so that when someone uses that object, they would gains the powers. The magicians thought that this was a wonderful idea, and planned to do so, until they realised that they again could not agree on what to bind it to.
