Halloween is just around the corner, and I've actually got a convention to go to on that weekend. My friend and I thought it would be awesome to wear Guro Lolita dresses on the first day of the convention (same day as Halloween). I'm working on one right now, but the shirt is turning out to be alot harder than I thought. I have a simple blouse that I painted blood on last year, so I'm trying to use that for my Gurololi. But for some reason I just don't like it. There's just something that bugs me about the outfit. Maybe it's the wig. I'm going to make a different bow to wear around the collar. Maybe that will help. I also thought about tearing and loosely stitching parts of the outfit. I already have short boots that I altered to look stitched toether for my Stein costume. I'd like to use those since I have no other white shoes except for my go-go boots (which I would NEVER wear with Lolita unless for some miraculous reason they actually worked with the outfit).
Here's my outfit so far. I still have some adjustments to do. ...I hate all that animal print in my mom's room. >_>
Here are the boots for my Stein costume. I might wear these with the dress if I can't find anything better. What do you think?
I have really limited resorces right now, so I can only do alterations to what I already have. I can't order anything new for this outfit.
