Upcoming Anime

Omigosh!!!!

It has Kirakishou~! Omigosh! I'M GONNA DIE! TT^TT Kirakishou's my favourite doll...ahhh...I didn't think they'd actually make an anime with Kirakishou, but they did, and I'm sooo spectacularly happy! The art style looks refreshingly like the original Peach Pit, like it should, but it looks more cleaned up than the old, which it also should. I like how it did keep with the old feel. Definitely going to watch this!

On a different note...I mean, anime...Dangan Ronpa...That's also an upcoming anime that will be released soon! It looked interesting...

But I've seen the character a billion times on pixiv...but I just recently looked up about the obese character 'cause I thought people were just being silly and making him look then. Until I saw the preview for the anime, which is of the first game...

Now I'm incredibly depressed...WAI!? WAI WOULD YOU FATTEN A CHARACTER! Make a beautiful character with lots of fangirls into an obese pathetic character....Ughh soooooo painfully depressing...

That is why I liked anime, 'cause that stuff didn't happen...;3;

Sorry, you can call me a uncaring, terrible, monster of a person, but I really feel heartbroken when people gain weight because it feels like...when a person starts smoking...like they're slowly killing themselves, but it's only worse because now they're ruining their lovely bodies' shapes! ;3;

Ughh...it hurts...I wish I never read that, now every time I see the art I'll think about how depressing that is...It's okay if you make a character fat as a joke or whatever, but don't publish it in the actual game.

Now I know that happens in real life, it's realistic, but it's also really sad. Closer to death, and not a lovely death a gross death that is hard to clean up 'cause you weigh so much.

Sorry, sorry, very heartless thing to say...but...I have to get it out of my system or I will forever grieve over it...'orz

Therefore I think it will be several years or never before I even decide to touch that series...>3>

In other other news I finished Mushishi! It was nice! Kinda wish I didn't finish it so soon, but I do want to watch other anime...

It's a very nice refreshing anime which feels so much deeper thank just the story that is being told. It's very inspirational and that music...;3;

But what I don't understand is the fangirling over Ginko. There seems to be a large fanbase for Mushishi and Ginko fangirling...which is very odd to me mainly because...I almost feel like...Well, Ginko may be the main character but aren't the mushi playing the bigger role? I mean, Ginko was just there to explain the phenomena to us, but other than that I don't think he's really that important to the story...

Ginko is a good character, but not one that I can make sense fangirling over...because he was just a guy who was open minded.

Also two things that bothered me about the whole thing...why is Ginko the only one wearing modern clothing...why is he wearing modern clothing at all? And why the opening in English when it's all very very Japanese?!

Gankutsuou made sense...sorta...not really...should'a been in French, but I guess English is okay (the Count could speak English after all! :D 'cause he was the 'Lord Willmore' that one time...ohhh, Count, joo so funneh)...

Deadman Wonderland....hrmm...I don't really see why it would be a problem having the opening in English, after all, there are many worse problems that if the opening is in English, plus this is the 21st century...*shrugs*

But Mushishi?! WAI?!

...

Since I should probably talk about this anyways...though I wasn't sure where exactly or in what fashion I should talk about them innn...hrmm...

Lemme tell you about the three movies I've watch recently and what I thought of them since these are fairly popular movies:

The Life of Pi

This was a LOVELY LOVELY movie!

Pros:
The visuals were spectacular and it was incredibly colourful and beautiful.
There were lots of animals! :D
It makes you think a LOT. And by a lot I mean not at all until the end and then you have a feeling of enlightenment.
The story telling is excellent.
Richard Parker's name...apparently there were several cases of the same Richard Parker being a victim to cannibalism or had been ship-wrecked. That's sorta interesting, doesn't really enhance your movie watching, but I thought that was cool (more to do with the book than movie).
The symbolism was beautiful, too.

Cons:
CGI isn't perfect and pretty obvious, but it doesn't really detract from the experience, though it is noticeable

Catcher Freeman
DJANGO: Unchained

(Not gonna do pros and cons on this 'cause it's hard to box into good and bad)

I guess if you get easily offended by these types of movies which are violently over the top and filled with racism (purposeful racism, you're supposed to hate those characters)...or if you're not a fan of the Boondocks (XD) then don't watch this movie.

If you want to be entertained then watch this movie.

I really liked this movie merely because they mentioned Alexandre Dumas! XD Ohohohooo, any movie that mentions him or his books gets a vote up for me (unless, of course, they mention him just to mention him and it is a stupid reference)! Christoph Waltz was incredibly awesome in this and I really really loved his character! ;w;

If anybody is familiar with The Boondocks or the Catcher Freeman episode...this is basically Catcher Freeman. Not even 'basically', it IS Catcher Freeman. There is even a character like Uncle Ruckus in it...ohhh, that's just too funny...XD

But if you're okay with those kinds of things, go ahead and watch it.

It's not meant to be taken seriously.

Skyfall

Pros:
Fun, interesting, creative characters. Catchy and lovable.
Very nice visuals.
Javier Bardem was very nice in this and I really liked his character. The character itself seemed rather flat, but Bardem gave it so much life that I felt for the guy! ;3;

Cons:
CHEESY CHEESE CHEESE ENCRUSTED PIZZA WITH CHEESY TOMATOES AND TOPPED WITH CHEESY CHEESE BALLS
Of course, stereotyping, I mean I could totes tell the guy with Scottish from the black dogs and overall character design...>3>
Impossible impossible stunts, and I mean impossible.
Pretty much followed the basic flow of any big budget Hollywood action movie, nothing particularly new

Despite the many large cons, it's still fairly enjoyable...but if you're looking for a mind blowing or memorable experience that is touching and thrilling then this isn't really the kind of movie you're looking for.

That's all kiddos~! ADIOS!
