Oooh! Yummy! X3

Random title...XD

I read my DOGS manga...XD It was delicious! The action was sooo yummy! X3 Really, I loved the action scenes...Even though I finished reading the pages...I took extra time to stare at them...O.O

And the art...<333 Ahh, it's soooo wonderful! I've been wanting to do more inky pages like DOGS and Shirokuro Kitan, with not as much tones (because, I think they're ugly, but without them...it also looks ugly...just, too many tones looks hideous sometimes) and lots of inky shading stuff. That is fun and easy....on the SAI....it is...But when I use manga studio it's really annoying...And I'm afraid of running out of supplies when I do it traditionally...So I'm probably going to be a CG mangaka. Like Deadman Wonderland's artist...I think he does his by the computer because I do not detect any traditional feel to it. The lines are too bulky to be done traditionally, and the tones are also done too clean.

Shirow Miwa does his traditionally and you can tell because sometimes his tones are off a bit, or little mistakes like those are throughout...But I only examined DOGS vol.0 in that way...I can't remember vol.1 so much....XD

My only problem with DOGS is the story. It's written well and all, and it's really original and really interesting and I LIKE the story...but it seems to much like a bunch of individuals with their own story meet. And that just doesn't feel interesting or as fun. It's a bit of looking towards the future, but then you think of everyone separately and it's just really weird to read DOGS: Bullets and Carnage and not think of it as overly predictable after reading Dogs...>.> Seriously everything that happened in that first volume I knew would happen. Only think I wanted to see was how it was drawn! X3

And Shirow Miwa's little comment at the end of Dogs about he was unhappy about his style and he knows he can work on so many things, but he really liked his characters and would like to write a whole story with all of them in it...I could really relate! I'm sure a lot of you can relate to that, too!

That you keep trying to draw really well, but you can see all the faults and it makes you cringe looking at some of them, especially when you're writing a manga. And then when you come up with AWESOME characters, and then you want to actually make a story for them....XD

That's happening with me right now. I created a character based off of Maki Goto...she was going to have her personality, but I went for a more spicy and cool personality (not that Goto Maki's isn't cool, it's just too nice and sweet, I want a show-off character). But she looks like her and has some of the same kind of fashion style...except for she has an eye patch...Dunno why...I think it's because as I was coming up with her I looked a picture of Ciel and thought 'Hey, she kinda looks like Ciel, she should have an eye patch, too, that'd look cool.' But because I think it's annoying when people have different coloured eyes under their eyes or something like that (though I do understand that a scar or something could mess that up) I decided she doesn't have an eye at all! XD And that her eye patch it permanently over her eye...like...nailed to her skull...or stapled...Not sure which, but you can't take it off.

And why? I dunno...I didn't go that far! XD I was just thinking about her personality and how she looks! XD But I want her to be tough and have some kind of weapons.

Speaking of weapons...I want to create a manga like DOGS, and I know I've been talking about my character Tobias and how he's all pimp and what-not, so I've been wanting to do a seinen manga for a while now...And I just came to any issue....

I DON'T LIKE GUNS! TT^TT And I don't know how to draw guns, and then for other weapons...yeah, I don't know how to draw them, either...O.o But I thought of a cool way to hold a gun (the proper way! X3)...but I don't know how to draw a gun...TT^TT And Yukiko has a plastic gun...which I cannot draw.

So I'm going to start practicing how to draw guns and other weapons and researching them, because I have no clue about any of them...>.>

Back to DOGS, I really like the character designs. I like Giovanni's design the most, but I like Badou as a character the most! X3 I don't care if he smokes, even though I'm totally anti-cigarretes, there is just something about him where I support him smoking! XD I think it's his dependency...just his comedic points and stuff. That and he reminds me of Takeru from SuG.

Hey! Since I don't have an pictures in this post, yet, lemme post a comparison:

No, they don't look alike. I think it's their smile. Don't they come off with the same kinda essence?

And I want to also practice smiles that those. Because I love those kinds of smiles! X3

But Takeru has dimples and so does Maya, which I find are some of their best features, and I want to draw a character with dimples...but every time I try it looks weird...and I've never seen an anime character with dimples...I don't know how to do it! TT^TT But I really want to figure it out...

So with all this inspiration I'll go make some really awesome characters...XD

Oh! I also got Grimm's fairy tales...but they were really weird...and lemme give you examples (copy and pasted from my journal on DA because I'm lazy):

I like them, they're really interesting, but then when I'm done reading each story I think 'Well, that was pointless, why did I even read this?'. 'cause the story where the Virgin Mary punishes this girl because she lied and that's a sin so she took away her children and the people thought of her as a man-eater until the girl told the truth. My question is...Why did she refuse to tell the truth even though life would be better off if she did? And she let her children be taken away, and then in the end when she fears death she tells the truth and then The Virgin Mary gives her back her children and they all live happily ever after. What a selfish person. Why would you let somebody take your children away just because you didn't want to tell the truth?

Then another strange one...but this was strange because it had no point....O.o Umm...it's about how this young king falls in love with a woman who loves gold and the faithful servant does everything to make him happy, but because this woman is...I don't know...cursed, I guess? He shoots this horse so that something bad wouldn't happen to the King, he burns his wedding thingy, and then he sucks out some blood from the golden woman's breast. All because he overheard some crows saying that the King and golden woman person will never be together because of the bad things that would happen, and what somebody could do to stop it. But if they told anybody of this then they'd turn to stone. And since all those things were really weird the King condemned him and then the servant explained why he did it and then he turned to stone. But that's not the weird part.

Then the King and his new wife are so depressed by this. And the King somehow talks to the now statue servant...somehow...and the servant says that to bring him back to life that he would have to cut off the heads of his children and sprinkle their blood on his statue and then he'd come back to life. So he did it (Why...?) and he came back to life, but then he put the kids back together and they came back to life...Sooo...what was the point of that story?

It was interesting, anyways! XD

And I didn't understand the story about the Frog Prince...she through him against the wall and he turned back into a Prince...? Wha? How does that work? Because she freed him from the well? I think he freed himself...That whole story made no sense to me...and the Iron Heinrich...what was that point of that? It just happened that the prince's servant has a torture device on him and he slowly died while they were riding in a carriage...O.o I dunno...it was weird...

Or this other one about this cat and mouse who made a pact with each other that they can live together and provide food for eachother (not eating eachother, this is more civil than that), but for when winter came they decided to store some fat in a pot and put it in a church because nobody steals from the church and that they shouldn't eat it unless for an emergency or when winter came. But the cat lied and made up excuses so that she could slowly eat it all, and she did and when winter came they had no food so the cat ate the mouse. The point of that story was that life is life, deal with it...Yep, but that was a disappointing ending. I thought the mouse would condemn the cat...O.o I dunno, but it was still interesting! XD

And that's all I can remember right now! They're really weird stories, and I told them poorly...because I can't really remember all of it.

Soooo...Bye-bye! ^ ^
