Why am I showing you guys my favourite artists? Ermm...I really don't remember why...I got so caught up in it that I forgot...XD
These are my favourite artists based on lineart and style. There are other artists I like, but they're mostly just colouring and not enough attention on the lineart and style (and forgot the Persona artist...>.>). So by what their numbers are:
1. Kanon Wakeshima (also love her music and clothes, I really look up to her in so many aspects)
2. Takeshi Okazaki (I don't know what it is about his art, but it's just so inspirational and amazing to look at....O.O)
3. Range Murata (I think everyone likes this artist! XD I like how draws bodies and makes the lines so smooth and make the picture so life-like....O.O)
4. Kaori Minakami (I love her adorable pictures and just her drawing style in general. It's so beautiful)
5. Kano Yasuhiro (actually, I don't particularly like his style, but he's a genius when it comes to writing manga)
6. Rain (
I am always speechless looking at their art. It's absolutely amazing.)
7. Nao Goto (Their art is sooo cute! I just like her soft style, it's so cute! <333)
8. Mitsuba Takanashi (I love this artist to death but I rarely talk about them...I'm not sure why...O.o I guess I just forget...XD)
9. Nona (I talk about them a lot, I love them for so many reasons! TT^TT)
10. Katagiri Ikumi (artist for Are you Alice, they have some wicked character designs. <333)
11. Ayumi Kasai (This is probably my favourite artist out of all of these. I just love all the genius designs and detail into everything. Even the lineart has extra detail put into it! TT^TT)
12. Hato Rami (I like the doll-like cuteness of her drawings, they're so adorable!)
13. Ayami Kojima (TT^TT SOOO GORGEOUS! Ughhh...how she draws eyes, you just get lost staring at them...)
14. Kusonoki Rinka (artist for Shirokuro Kitan...Every page I just stare at when reading that manga...It's so awesome looking...)
15. Yoshiyuki Sadamoto (this might be because I like NGE, but I do love this artist's style, but I don't know why...O.o)
16. Asako Takaboshi (I don't like her coloured or covers for her manga, but when reading the manga itself the pictures are GORGEOUS)
17. Takeshi Obata (of course, but I'm still disappointed in him. Still, his art is amazing)
18. Samura Hiroaki (I love this artist, but sometimes his art is...painful...from a woman's perspective...O.o But I do love how he draws faces)
19. Kaori Yuki (I love her style, but sometimes I don't, it just depends on the picture. Sometimes it's blah and sometimes it's absolutely amazing.)
20. Zakkyou (The artist for the Toradora! manga, I don't know if it's their style or just trying to match the original art, but I really love the style for Toradora! It's adorable! <333)
Yep, yep. I'm going to change my style again. Because I've come to the realization that my style is made for colouring, not lineart! TT^TT And what's manga? Lineart with tones...TT^TT So I'm going to come up with something, but I'm stealing Kanon's way of doing hair...kinda...I was kinda already doing that...O.o I just never did it with long hair...well, yeah, I did, with Yukiko...But her hair isn't curly.
But I think that if I start drawing hair in that way it'll push me to get a different style to compliment that. And I need to draw eyelashes...TT^TT Have you noticed that I don't draw ANY? And all my favourite artists except for a few...but those guys are exceptions 'cause the pictures are of boys, not girls ('cept for Yoshiyuki Sadamoto, but I seriously don't know why I like his style). So I need to figure out how to draw more detailed eyes...
And noses and stuff...Actually, nothing in my artwork is detailed, which I need to work on because all of my favourite artists have a lot of detail of some kind.
I might work on traditional pictures tomorrow...I should buy some more art supplies or something...>.> I actually kinda like traditional over CG because I get more into it when I do it traditionally, but when I do CG I keep forgetting about what I'm doing or lose interest.
Should I make that a meme? To post a list of your favourite artists...? I should make it a DA kinda meme...Or maybe like a style meme or something....O.o
Actually, I do something like that..maybe...O.o Hrmm..
But I say you guys should make a list like mine of your favourite artists! Go do it now! Or when you have the time...
O.o I just knocked down my drinking glass and it broke...O.o And I didn't see any glass shards on the floor, just on the table...but I'm kinda worried...
