This one is way short, but the next one I'm going to post is kind of long, so it all evens out.
Haruka and Mello
Haruka ignored the dark creepiness of the hallway she was walking down and finally reached her apartment and went in.
"Yo."
She freaked out at the voice and automatically reached for something she could use as a weapon, but relaxed when she recognized who it was.
"Mello!" She flipped on the lights. "You scared the crap out of me!"
"Well, you told me to stay in touch," he pointed out.
"True." She moved to hug him, even though he didn't like to be hugged, but stopped.
"What?"
"...Dude, I don't even wantt o know why your pants tie."

I hope this was as funny to everyone else as it was in my head ^_^ It kind of worries me that Mello's pants tie lol. I guess this scene was supposed to happen after Mello gets his scar but before he confronts Near in the SPK building. Which doesn't really make sense, but that's why it's a short scene and not in the fic. Also, there's no reason for Haruka to have an apartment, it just made it work ^^
