A while ago, theOtaku.com posted up some news regarding this year's "Space Battleship Yamato" (Star Blazers) movie, which happens to be "Space Battleship Yamato: Rebirth Chapter" (or simply "Yamato Rebirth"). It's now official that its chief director Yoshinobu Nishizaki is planning to complete work on the film itself by October for release in Japanese theaters in December. Lets hope that an official English dubbed or subbed version of this movie gets released later on, seeing that it's been a long time since any "Space Battleship Yamato" ever got dubbed/subbed officially for English-speaking nations (note that "Final Yamato" (1983) was the last "SBY" Anime to be officially subbed).
