Hello, Ota-kuns~~~! Just typing from here in faaabulous (lol jk X3) Myrtle Beach, South Carolina! I'm vacationing here with my family, so I won't be as active on theO as usual. Afternoon Tea with (Dog) Biscuits

"To be free from duty," a gruff voice sighed contently, "Oh, what a relief!" The ninken known to most of his associates as Pakkun, and was one of Kakashi Hatake's most trusted summoning pets, trotted down Konoha Tea Avenue inhaling the rich, exotic scents that wafted around his wet, canine nose like a lazy hurricane. The squat dog made a somewhat labored jump onto a fine chair and gazed at the multitudes of citizens, both young and old, as they grazed the vendors' stalls and sampled delicacies that were unique and novelties to Konohagakure. His thin, black lips pulled into a dog-esque version of a smile, "Nice atmosphere." Pakkun was a man- er, dog of few words, but even he took time to unwind and smell the roses. Rose tea, to be precise! Pakkun leapt from the cushion and jogged between the maze of legs and ox carts to one of his favorite old haunts- Junsachi Tea Co.
His nose sniffed madly, fearful to lose the intoxicatingly delicate perfume of herbal tea. A couple of local children who usually played outside their parents' stores spotted him and began to becken him with promises of belly rubs or spare bones. The cutesy tone in their voices normally annoyed the shinobi hound, but he was too focused on trailing his objective to pay them any mind and picked up his pace. Gradually, they lost interest in following him and reverted their attention to their previous amusements. Just a few more corners, and around that alley, below the gutter... Pakkun recited the directions to himself.
"Yo! Pak-kun! What's shakin', homie?"
Pakkun, disgruntled about having to divert his attention away from his aromatic Nirvana, glanced behind him. "Oh...It's you, Gamaru." Gamaru was also a dog, and one of Pakkun's closest non-human buddies. The large, hunting-class dog was a stray since birth and wandered Konoha mooching food from tourists by performing 'cute' stunts, and generally being a lucky bum. His lanky frame was covered with scruffy, multi-hued fur and he hobbled a little when he walked. Pakkun sat on the sidewalk to rest, "Haven't chased down any more boars for food yet?" Gamaru growled in embarassment. "C'mon, man-!"
"Dog," Pakkun corrected. "Fine! Dog," Gamaru stressed that last syllable. "I was hungry, dude! Besides, I haven't chased anything that has its teeth outside its mouth since then." Pakkun barked a coarse laugh, "Whatever floats your boat!"
"...I can't steer anything. I'm a dog, remember?" Gamaru grinned with a smug facade. Pakkun smacked his friend's snout with a stubby paw. "Shut up, will you?" The pug sat up and resumed his trek to the tea store. "I'm going to Junsachi," he stated, "you want to come with?" Gamaru's face lit up with a goofy, sneaky expression. "Only if you promise to behave and act like you have a brain cell or two," Pakkun quickly added.
"Sure, man. Whatever!" Gamaru trotted and slowly walked beside Pakkun in order not to get to far ahead. "Dog, Ga-kun. Dooog! Now repeat after me-", Pakkun said in a patronizing tone. "Dog! I'ma gonna get you, DOG!" Gamaru foregoed all manner of civility and promptly lunged at the smaller canine. Pakkun chuckled and watched as his dull-witted pal bonked his head on the base of a street lamp. "Race you to the shop?" Pakkun jeered. Gamaru, shaking a grody banana peel off his head, reared back and rocketed past the shorter dog. "Loser has to act like parrot for the rest of the week!"
Pakkun's face fell for a second. "That made no sense at all!" Gamaru howled in triumph as he hustled past the ninken. "That's the point, man!" The taller hound swerved around the corner and disappeared from Pakkun's view. Gamaru's raucious voice echoed through the lane, "Hope you order some crackers with that tea of yours, Polly!"

First of all, I'm am SOOOOO sorry how long it took me to update. I know it's been forever, but I'm pretty much free for the summer now that hell school's over! XDDD w00t Raise da roof!
Hahaha. How is everyone doing? :) I've been ghosting around theO for the past couple of weeks trying to keep the comments going, but I just haven't been inspired or was too busy studying for my exams. But now I'm going to update as often as I can, write that fanfic that I promised someone (Writer's block is loosening its hold), and post some more art and stuff. Unless of course, I'm playing Halo or something! XD jk jk Do you realize how addictive that game is? I'm playing it on easy mode, but I'm still having a tough time. I've made it to the Silent Cartographer level and am putting off trying to take out a couple of Hunters (big, huge-butt plasma cannons, fast), and theeeen fighting about a kajillion more Hunters + Covenant!!! Blargh!!! DX I'm still trying to figure out how I survived several plasma grenades to my face. How?!Hehehe. Headshot...It does nothing! >:P I pistol-whippedmy way off of one level. Eh, I ran out of ammo, was on my last leg of life, and had 20+ Covenant surrounding me. And I busted every single one of them down with an empty gun! Achievement: Win. >:D All of that to open a door. A DOOR!!! Hmph.
Other than Halo, I've been doing good. Went to see the new Wolverine movie about a week ago and it ROCKED!!!! Seriously, even my mom liked it (she doesn't like sci-fi or anything similar)! But LAWL @ Wolvie streaking! XDDD Poor old people! :P I've also been messing around with Photoshop. Sadly, not much progress, but I'm getting there! ^^; I've also got a new idea for my next cosplay = The Undertaker from Kuroshitsuji!!! He's awesome! XDDD Why do I love the Weirdies? *sigh* =.= It's a good series though! :) In other non-anime related news, my dad caught a bunny today! Don't worry, it wasn't harmed. ^_^ It was a girl, and still fairly young, but she was sooooo cute and soft. However, she had some sharp, little teeth on her! Yeowch! D: She seemed somewhat frightened as she made these pitiful little SQWEE SQWEE SQWEE noises (I almost cried a bit from the cuteness) so I made my dad put her down into some bushes. She scampered away so cutely! >w< I love bunnies~~~! <3 One more thing: One Piece is pure awesome. 8D I'm substituting D. Gray-man for One Piece until the hiatus o' doom is lifted. I have a new fave charachter! Kaku, from the CP9 arc! XDD He looks like Ussop, except he has a rectangular nose and short, orange hair. His Devil Fruit power is a Zoan type (animal-person), which means that he has the power to turn into a Giraffe! 8D HOW AWESOME IS THAT?! Oh, and he can breakdance!!! >:]
Other than that jumble of random news, I have nothing much else to say. Until the next post, my dear Ota-kuns, I bid thee farewell! =^_____^=
