The only reason that Eevee are usually male is because the game designers wanted to make it harder to breed an Eevee with special inherited moves.

That's pretty funny. I usually think of Eevee (and most of its evolutions) as a feminine Pokemon even though they're usually male.

Yeah, it's kinda funny how some male Pokemon can end up having such a feminine appearance. Kirlia has the same problem. Of course Kirlia's problem can be remedied with the Dawn Stone.
