(Last time.... The gang lands in Hogwarts! Syaoran is sorted into Griffindore and Sakura finds herself in Hufflepuff. Syaoran is disturbed by this separation and must serve "detention" in Fai and Kurogane's Defense against the Dark Arts classroom to have a conversation with them. They suspect that a single winged snitch may hold meaning for Sakura and her missing feathers, so Syaoran is urged to join the team. Kurogane, however still thinks the missing DADA teacher has importance to future events. Are either of them correct? What are your predictions?..... Read on :)
F&H Chapter 4- Peeves has a change of heart.
Sakura awoke in the hufflepuff girls dormintory with a start. Where am I?! She instinctively turned, hoping to see Syaoran-kun nearby. Instead, her gaze found the wall. Sakura dressed herself into the robes she found at the foot of her bed, remembering that she was in a strange school, in another world. Syaoran-kun had been separated from her, so she was going to have to be extra careful. She tiptoed down the stairs of common room and found it to be empty.
They must be at breakfast, she reasoned. Sakura approached the knight's portrait that marked the exit of the hufflepuff common room, and began to search for the great hall. Remembering that it was on the lower level of the castle, the hurried down another flight of stairs. The Great Hall wasnt hard to find after that, and as soon as she found it, she took a seat at the breakfast table beside the hufflepuff boy whom she recognized from the previous day.
"Yo," The boy said as she sat. "Did you sleep well?"
"Yes, thank you," Sakura. She was actually surprised by how awake she felt.
"Good! So are you going to try out for the Quidditch team this year?"
Sakura thought for a moment. "Um... I think so?"
"You should," He said enthusiastically, "I'll bet we can both make it! Theres know way that damn rat's going to beat me this time!"
"Rat?" Sakura asked confusedly.
The boy smiled. "I haven't introduced myself yet, have I? I'm Kyo Sohma." He emphasized his last name.
"Sakura." She replied.
"The Sohmas are are well-known for being a family of natural animagus...Ya know, we transform into animals and all that. I'm the Cat, and the rat is Yuki."
Sakura smiled. This was an interesting world. People who could transform into animals? "That's amazing Kyo!"
Kyo blushed, "Not really. Mostly it's just embarrasing."
"I think I will give quidditch a try, " Sakura said. What else would she be doing with her free time?
"Great! See you at tryouts tomorrow," Kyo said as he finished his scrambled eggs.
Sakura smiled him and watched him go. Then, shaking the thought of Kyo from her mind, she scanned the rows of tables for Syaoran-kun. Not finding him, she finished her food and began to think about her next class. " Potions with Slytherin first, then Defense Against the Dark Arts (DADA)," the prefect replied when she asked about her schedule.
Before she had a chance to walk down to the dungeons where her next class would be, several dozen owls, and one Mokona, drifted into the room. "Post is late!" One boy yelled.
Mokona was flying with its ears like a miniature Dumbo and in its hands it held a message. "Hey Moko-chan!" Sakura said, happy to see a familiar face.
"That was one of my 108 secret techniques! Did you see me? I flew!!!!"
Sakura patted its head and took the note. "It's from Syaoran-kun! He says we can communicate through owl post like this at meal times!" She said with joy.
"Oh," Mokona said, remembering, " He also asked me to tell you to try out for the quidditch team"
"I plan to!" Sakura etched her answer into the parchment with a few strokes of her quill pen.
"And now," Mokona said, flapping its ears, "I'm off and away to Syaoran-kun's table!" Mokona fluttered off, and Sakura followed.
Syaoran was at a table underneath a gold and red banner depicting a majestic lion. Before she could reach him, however, the Griffindor prefect stopped her. " Just where do you think you're going?"
