The two trees stood next to each other at the edge of the forest.
But no matter how much they loved each other, they couldn't touch one another.
Sometimes the wind would blow, and their branches would touch.
But the girl tree was still really sad.

One day there was a fire in the forest and the two trees were engulfed in the flames.
They both end up dying but..
As they were burning, the two trees turned into one cloud of smoke and climbed into the sky.
The girl tree was happy.

Because the two trees were finally able to become one.
