Hello, I'm Kris:) I also go by the name Cherri, from my tumblr. I havent been drawing much lately, but its always nice to come back here now and then to see how old friends are doing.
Uh yeah. I'll be rambling away about my life here, so don't mind me :/

Ahhh Hello?!

Hiiii. Uh probably no one is going to remember me, its been more than a few years. But I'm going to add some more recent art here! And try not to cringe over my old stuff here... god... so much homestuck, why why why what was I thinking lmao

But in other news, I'm doing well. Im in college now, not for art, and consequentially I draw very little. I do have a personal project Im working on, but honestly this past year all Ive drawn is animal crossing junk for commissions on tumblr. I need a good change of pace to shake this block

:) But happy to be back for this short time. Its nice to see old friends still drawing and doing well

Im back?

SO sorry oh my god. So I said earlier how I was having computer problems right? My laptop is completely fried now, I lost three years of work and a lot of stuff I was planning on posting :(( So that's why I haven't been here for a while, Its really discouraging, everyone was summing up their years' and holidays' with those art summaries and Im like :I Sorry I got nothing... Yeah so hopefully I can get back into the groove eventually.
I have a new laptop, I got it for christmas, so don't worry! I will be back I just... Have to draw something suitable first (that isn't homestuck ahahahaha....) My style has also changed a lot since the last time I posted here back in like september, so be prepared ;) I'm glad to be back :)

Secret Santa wishlist LATEOHGOD

Okay attempt 3 I think. I've been having computer troubles so this took a really loooong time to type.

1) I would like pokemon in santa hats :3 I've asked for this every year and no one has complied yet lol. Uhm Bulbasaur is my favorite pokemon but I like all the grass starters.

2) You can draw me xD In a Christmas theme of course

Yeah so I'm not good at asking for things. I would rather just give someone a drawing than get one in return ahahaha It took an incredibly long time to type this really shitty request ahahah

Well then

Okay guys, don't want to be a snitch or anything but SERIOUSLY, I'm pissed off now. This person, tokiohotel18, has stolen two peices of art from Oceanchan of dA and is repeatedly deleting my comments when I post the link to the real picture. Please report her. Kay, gonna stop now before I go on full blown rant mode.

Guardians- Ending

Oh god. Here it is if you want to read it. Took me an hour to find my old draft and type this up. I cried after I finished too ohgod

“For Aslan!” Peter Shouted and the company surged forward across the grassy plain. I ran faster than I ever had before, momentum carrying me down the hill. Rita was a pace behind me; I could hear her armor rattle as an unnatural wind began to surge around her.
The oncoming rush of monsters and intermingled Heartless smashed into the first row of the Centaurs and cavalry with an enormous roar. Claws slashed on armor, animal screeches and monster roars filled my ears.
We kept running with the rest of the satyrs and slower animals, when suddenly a crippling screech came from above. Everyone below winced and stumbled, holding their ears. I tore my eyes away from the oncoming rush of monster and saw one of the griffins go down, some strange bat-bird-like creature grappling its wings.
Rita smoothly peeled away from the company as if rehearsed and leapt up a formation of boulders, with wind on her feet; she launched herself into the air at the creature. Her keyblade formed mid strike as she swung her arm at the creature, ripping through it. It burst into shreds of darkness, and Rita tumbled to the ground, rolling away and back onto her feet. The nearby Satyrs cheered at her feat, and I too lifted my helmet.
I’ll stay here and protect the griffins, she said to me, making eye contact. She climbed back up the pile of boulders where she kept an eye on the bird-lions as they dropped loads of rocks on the enemy. I nodded and kept running. I’ll catch up with you later. The heartless and monsters broke through our first line and swamped our ranks. The Narnians were badly outnumbered. The battle faded into the blur of my arm swinging and occasionally shooting bolts of electricity.
Soldiers around me were falling. Satyrs and Jaguars’ places were filled with heartless. I was cut off from the rest of the group, and surrounded by a ring of enemies. A blow knocked my helmet off, and by the time I spun around another sent blood into my eyes. I swung my keyblade blindly and stumbled backwards.
“Pull back! Pull back!” I heard Peter’s voice distantly. We were losing. I tried to back my way out the ring, but I turned and a giant Minotaur blocked my path. He snarled at me and hefted his enormous axe.
“Woah!” I ducked and rolled between his legs. The Minotaur roared and pulled his axe out of the ground. I was already off and running, but heard the harsh sound of his breath and felt the earth shake. He was chasing me. His longer stride would over take me sooner or later, so I turned to fight.
He swung wildly, attempting to cut me in half, and I leapt backwards. As he struggled to pull his axe out of the ground again I quickly charged forward and struck him between the horns. He’s not very smart_ oh crap! My keyblade got tangled in his horns and then wrenched out of my hands as he straightened up. I was too stunned by my stupidity to do much else than stand there. The thing roared and I flinched at the smell of his breath. His eyes gleamed with triumph, he knew I was weaponless. I tried to run away again, but he grabbed me in his massive hands and probably would have proceeded to rattle my brains out if a giant rock hadn’t crashed into him at that moment.
I hit the ground and lay still with my eyes squeezed shut. I could feel my pulse pounding in my head. Once I gained control over my stomach I staggered over to the Minotaur and wrenched my keyblade out of its horns.
I examined the body and saw that atop the boulder was a griffin, which was carrying a grinning Rita. “Let’s get out of here!” She reached a hand out to me. I quickly grabbed on. The heartless that moved out of the way to watch the Minotaur have his fun were closing in. I settled in behind her, and circled my free arm around her waist. “Let’s go,” She patted the griffin’s side and he took off, soaring back toward the Narnians.
From above the battle looked in even worse shape. The field was completely over run, our forces appeared to be a mere stream in a sea of monsters. They were backed against the cliff side, fighting for their lives.
“There’s so many…” Rita blanched,” How are supposed to get rid of all of them?”
“We can’t give up,” I reassuringly, but I had my doubts about our chances as well. The griffin soared down towards a plateau bordering the edge of the plain, and let us off. It flew off again to fight elsewhere as soon as we were on the ground.
“Good luck, thank you!” Rita called out after it.
The plateau was empty, but beneath us a group of Satyrs were cowering against the rocky wall. Rita began shooting bolts of magic into the crowd of harassing heartless, and I threw rocks, pausing to wipe the bloody hair out of my eyes now and again.
In time, the heartless realized we were the source of the barrage and overpowered the satyrs, climbing up the wall to come for us next. We shoved some of them off as they reached the top, but we were eventually forced back, to avoid their slashing claws.
I ducked and dodged, jabbed and swung; reinvigorated with Rita fighting besides me. She was unfortunately bad at short range combat, so I began to circle her and give her cover as she shot magic at the heartless.
Our arrangement was working well, and soon the plateau was clear again. I shoved a single scrawny Shadow over the ledge and turned back to see Rita bent over, trying to catch her breath. “Nice job,” she panted.
“You too, that magic was fantastic,” I smiled and wiped some sweat and blood off my face.
“You’re bleeding,” Rita gestured at my face and wearily she straightened up and healed me. I felt a tickle as the cut on my forehead sealed back up and sighed with relief.
“Thank you, I wasn’t careful enough. The monsters can draw blood, even if the heartless can’t.”
Rita nodded. “Yeah, I got banged up by a troll earlier. Are you ready to keep going?”
“No, but let’s go.”
“Oh how brave of you,”
We whipped around to the source of the familiar voice. Riku was standing in the middle of the plateau, watching us with contempt. Rita gasped and I stepped in front of her.
“What now?” I snapped.
“Orders from Maleficent. She’s tired of the two of you running around sealing up keyholes so she sent me to end you.”
I snorted. Rita came out from behind me. “How’s Sora?”
Riku clenched his jaw and a vein pulsed in his forehead. “That doesn’t matter.”
Rita softened her glare. “You were ordered to wipe out him, not us. Weren’t you?” I looked at Rita in shock.
How do you know?
Shh,
She glanced at me and then said to Riku. “You thought it would be better to bring back two meddlers instead of one. Besides, you wouldn’t hurt Sora; he’s still your friend.”
Riku turned pale, but flushed at her last words. “You don’t_ you’re wrong! I can, I will do it! He doesn’t mean anything to me anymore, he has his new friends!” His voice rose in pitch with desperation, “Kairi is the only one I care about now… She needs me to do this… For her…. But you two are first!” His last words changed, they sounded two toned, like two people were speaking at once. His eyes gleamed yellow as he charged.
A row of Wyvern heartless appeared behind him as he charged. I ran out to meet him, our blades met in mid air with a clang. We separated and attacked again, I brought my blade up to block a blow and then lashed out with my own. I felt wind rustle my hair and a wyvern fell. Rita would take care of the heartless, Riku was mine.
I ducked around his attack and slammed my blade into the back of his knee. Riku staggered and twisted around, his hand slapping into my maroon Narnian breastplate. His hand began to glow with dark fire and I shot backwards. I hit the ground on my back and I gasped as the air whooshed out of me.
“Jeran!” Rita called; she destroyed the last of her opponents and glided over to me. I sat up and ripped the still burning armor off. The fire had heated the metal incredibly, and my shirt underneath was burnt straight through. A hand shaped patch of skin was burnt on my chest. It looked ridiculous but hurt even worse. I hunched over and tried to get air back into my lungs.
Rita crouched besides me, her soft brown eyes wide in shock. She spun around, “Get back you monster!” Rita warned Riku. She stood up and guarded me. I could see Riku’s shoes approach through the gap in her legs. I rolled onto my side and reached for my keyblade.
“Make me,” The creepy two-toned voice sent chills up my spine.
“I will!” She darted at Riku, her keyblade held firmly in two hands. A gust of wind came from behind, and knocked my keyblade further away. It surged around Rita, like water parting a rock, and slammed into Riku. As he stumbled she swung her blade.
I gave up trying to reach my blade and focused on sitting up again. My chest still felt like it was on fire. I closed my eyes, and prayed Rita would win.

~

“Jeran!” I heard Jeran give a yelp of pain and I turned to see him fly through the air and hit the ground. He curled up and tried to pry his armor off, a wisp of smoke rose into the air. Riku stood a few feet away with a smoldering hand and an evil grin.
I shot one last time at the heartless and willed the wind to propel myself over to Jeran. I crouched down to examine his wound. Jeran was looking at the burn as well, his breath coming in short painful gasps. A whole patch of skin was burned away. It was shaped like a hand.
“Get back you monster!” I shouted at Riku. He had somehow hit Jeran and burned a hole straight through his armor, and shot him back at least twenty feet.
Riku smiled arrogantly. “Make me,” He said in that horrible two-toned-voice. I felt my blood boil and suddenly I was charging forward. Riku looked stunned, like he hadn’t really expected me to confront him directly. We had fought enough times for him to know I was no good at swinging and hitting.
My first blow landed, he was surprised and anger made me accurate. He had injured Jeran; the one who was always there to protect me and comfort me. I never realized how much I had come to depend on him, and how I had come to love him. And if Riku was trying to kill him, I would kill him first.
My second blow met Riku’s demented keyblade, and his face contorted with anger. He twisted his blade around mine, hooking onto the feather shaped blade and wrenching it from my hands. As it hit the ground it changed back into its charm form. Riku swung the blade up to my throat, and I backed away, hands in the air.
In the distance I heard a lion roar, and numbly I realized that the backup must have arrived. The battle would be won, but my war was over. Jeran was badly injured by some weird fire, and was in no shape to breathe, let alone help me. My charm was far out of my reach. I was powerless, and I failed. Again.
Riku knew he had won as well. He smirked and moved his blade from my throat to his heart. His lips formed words but I heard only the thud of my heart. He drove his keyblade forward, struck my heart, and I was free.
I’m sorry Jeran

“_Finish,” Riku said coldly. I heard Rita gasp and my eyes shot open. Dread clutched my heart.
Rita was suspended in air, Riku’s blade stuck out of her chest. A glowing orb floated towards the sky, pulsing with golden light. Riku pulled his keyblade out of Rita’s body and smashed the orb, which shattered into pieces that faded away as they touched the ground. Rita fell to the ground suddenly with a sickening thump.
“No…” I struggled to process what I was seeing. It couldn’t be… But I felt Rita’s spells wearing off; I felt my legs changing back to normal. The disguise was broken, which meant_
“No… No!” I struggled to my feet, and red lightning arched around me, singing the ground, and surrounding me like a brilliant red thundercloud.
Riku was already walking away, thinking that he had already killed me. But I didn’t care about him now. I had to see Rita, I had to make sure she was okay, listen to her quiet laugh, watch her play with the wind, pet that baby deer, run across the plains as a lion, smile at me in her cute way, call me an idiot_
I crouched by her and grabbed her shoulder. Rita? Rita? Rita!” I shook her and her head lolled back. “No, NO!” I stood up and ran at Riku. I channeled the electricity down my arm and into my keyblade. Somehow Riku managed to spin around and blocked the bolt, sending it arcing into the clouds. Tears blinded me as we reengaged our fight. Even in my enraged state I was no match for him. Riku knocked me away and looked down at me in disgust.
“Pitiful. I wonder why the boy didn’t kill you sooner.” I panted and spat blood onto the ground.
Not Riku looked at the horizon. “I have better things to do,” A dark portal swirled around him, and he disappeared with one last disparaging look at me.
I laid on the ground utterly spent. Not a thought crossed my head for what seemed like forever. Suddenly I gasped and realized I must have stopped breathing. I felt the familiar feeling, like I was slipping away, slowly disappearing. I realized that my charm must have decided it was time to move on to a new world, but I wasn’t ready to go yet. I had to get something.
Summoning all my willpower I dragged myself over to Rita. Her eyes were closed, and her chest was still. Like me her legs resumed their normal appearance, no longer disguised like a satyrs. I knew what it meant. That the source of the magic had died. I couldn’t deny it. I watched Riku shatter her heart.
My throat constricted and I sobbed. I buried my head in Rita’s shirt and cried unrestrainedly. We had failed again. I had failed even worse. I had let her die.
The feeling of slipping away returned and I forced myself together. Her bright rainbow feather charm was lying on the ground besides her, and I picked it up. Looking at it on my palm, I thought of the first day I met Rita, the first time I had seen her wearing it. The charm pulsed in my hand and I remembered something Ansem said suddenly.
“Never lose them! They are more important than any piece of regular jewelry. I enchanted them to hold half of your heart’s power, if you lose them or throw them away, you’d be better off throwing yourself away….”
I gasped as I realized the memory was not from me, I was watching it from Rita’s eyes. Tears gathered at the corners of my eyes as I smiled down at the charm. I finally allowed myself to slip away, and my charm carried me off to some new world.
