BRIEF BACKSTORY
Long ago,he was a child who,by himself,rebelled against his Gedoe masters had fed on his parents; he built his own small gang (the EXE) and fought hundreds of Gedoes,until he met Gutworm and Solomon,allied with them and fought in the war they had started.With the latter two,HYDE help defeat Mother Ouroboros.After the war was over,HYDE left to keep his gang independent and start a family,although he kept contact with the Peacemakers.
PERSONALITY
HYDE almost always tries to act cool and relaxed.While he is quite easygoing compared to most,he is a big softie and a pretty cheesy guy;this side of him makes him prone to be teased by Sonata and especially Flame,and his reactions never fail to amuse either of them.
HYDE is somewhat immature,detesting the idea of aging and keeping his teenage habit of flirting with girls,despite his acknowledging being in a serious relationship and past the age for that sort of attitude.He claims he will never truly grow old.He is also fairly nosy.
Amongst his many,many hobbies,he particularly loves music and often plays guitar on his own (he taught himself),which to him,is the best way to express his romantic views on life and hopefulness for the future.He occasionally shows signs of world-weariness.
BATTLE STATS
After the war,HYDE never had to work hard to win fights against the child smugglers he would oppose,causing him to rust (at least,in his ability to fight at high levels),but his fight with Manticore which required him to be saved by Ethereal,Lio and Metalixca reawakened his senses and interest in battle.
HYDE possessed an ability of untold potential he named Propaganda; it's the ability to weaponize any non-living object in any way he wants. It could allow him to turn to post sign into a spear,or a rock into an explosive,amongst many,many other applications he thought of.
Unknown to him,his ability comes from microscopic parasites from within him,who enter objects and mutate them to instinctively protect their "nest" HYDE; they glow when using this ability,which explains the tendency for objects affected by Propaganda to sparkle.Because of this,no other people can used weapons created this way.HYDE can mutate an entire building to create giant canons or fortresses,but it takes 10 full minutes for Propaganda to "possess" such big objects
HYDE is very versatile with weapons,due to experimenting a lot with this ability,but he especially loves using Propaganda to weaponize his guitar Heroine,(referring to his girlfriend) with turns into a massive blade with guitar strings that can be used as stun projectiles
Possesses the strange and uncanny ability to survive and permanently damage otherwise omnipotent godly entities,a trait very few,if any other Dente has.Some say it's a "heroic" trait;God-Abaddon refers to this Gift as "Virus".

NOTABLE RELATIONSHIPS
+Despite acting very flirtatious all the time,HYDE is very in love with Maryanne and constantly shower her with affection.They are the definition of a sickeningly sweet couple.They met when they were both rebelling against the Gedoes on their own,which is what prompted the heavy flirting on HYDE's part,which ended with them becoming a couple.They are pretty excited for their child.HYDE's severe depression renders him cold to her and his last moments were dedicated to wanting to make up with her.
+Though he plays dumb,he is aware of Sonata's crush on him,and his quite sorry for being unable to return it.He still cares for his childhood friend immensely. Sonata dying agaisnt Caligula sends HYDE into a massive, near-suicidal depression

+Flame and HYDE are vitriolic best friends; they constantly snarking each other,but they hang out with each other and respect each other's opinions.They have a lot in common admittedly though.
+HYDE quickly builds a strong bond with Ethereal and is thankful for the latter rescuing Maryanne from Grey Kafka. He is genuinely concerned for Ethereal's lack of confidence and personal quest to become a "true human",which in turn causes HYDE to let Ethereal depend emotionally on him.They fight as a team,and are so close,the other children start being jealous of their partnerships.
=Morphin is notably the only EXE member HYDE is not very close to,having a purely professional partnership,since she is a mercenary recommended by Flame.Nonetheless,he trusts her and acts rather interested in her relationship with Flame.
+HYDE has something of a strong physical attraction towards Metalixca,often winking at her and commenting on her attractiveness.While he knows and is perfectly fine with his flirting being one-sided,he is less than pleased about Metalixca pursuing Kurojin.Otherwise,they both get along well;HYDE not only created her nickname "Meth",but also considers her a honorary member of the Exe
+HYDE greatly respects his elder oath brother Solomon.He teases Solomon about his less-than-gracious aging,but obviously would obey and fight for him,despite HYDE's stubborn penchant for vigilantism.
-Finds Kurojin incredibly unpleasant and grimaces whenever he appears.They act very cold and rude towards each other (although HYDE severly underestimated him and comes to acknowledge it)
-Has an awkward mix of respect and contempt towards Manticore.He greatly respects the latter's strength (both physical and mental),but expresses confusion and even disgust towards Manticore's barbaric world-view and bloodlust;HYDE,by contrast, only enjoys fighting for sport. HYDE is notably annoyed by Manticore's persistence in battle.
