My fleeting moment of epicness of having my computer back. Now it won't turn on at all.

Ain't. That. Great.

EDIT: Talked with a very respectable Mac repair store in the area. They told me that attempting to get it repaired isn't even advisable since my Mac is vintage (meaning parts to replace it would cost me, essentially, what three working iBooks would now cost on eBay).

So now I'm just looking for an external hard drive and data recovery services. *sigh*
