Right, so we've had our power knocked out due to a windstorm that was a result of an offshoot of Hurricane Ike. And by "we" I mean my entire city. Not to mention several other cities in Ohio. And officials are saying it may be days before power is restored.

I now have so much more sympathy and respect for those people who have the guts to actually live where they get this stuff before it dissipates into a simple windstorm.
