For those of you that are unaware, Tim Russert, NBC political analyst, host of Meet the Press and NBC Washington Bureau Chief, died today of an apparent heart attack at his Washington office. He was 58.

Tim has done a lot of good things for the industry and has set a standard for excellence with his style of reporting. He wasn't afraid to ask the big questions and call anyone out on things that contradicted themselves in what people said and what they actually did. He was always at the forefront of the political scene and did a damn good job with coverage for the Democratic Nomination, as well as coverage for the election in general.

He was a man that any aspiring journalist should look up to and look toward as an example of what a journalist should be.

I will miss him greatly.
