Testing this feature here. Since theO doesn't seem to support the default embed I was given, I've finagled it a little so it will show here. This image will take you to a button that takes you to the page XD
Yeaah... That manga contest... Probably not gonna be able to participate =/ I'm still writing out the plot at this point (almost done, I'd like to think another day will do me) and the deadline's July 31st, soooo.... Yah.
That's not to say I won't continue working on the revamp. I can still put it up on Tapastic, and when I do, I'll put the link here =)
If anyone hasn't had a chance to buy my game Elemental: Seven Minutes in Heaven, it will be on sale at 12am June 25th and stay on sale until 12am July 1st. Only $2 for the next 6 days! =D

So I can't remember if I mentioned I was revamping Fear to Love, but my progress got derailed when I started getting pains in my side and weird numbness. I went to Urgent care, but they didn't find anything life-threatening. I'm just on a balanced diet plan and pain meds until the pains are completely gone.
However, I managed to finish up my character development trees just now, so I can move onto actually writing out the detailed plot tomorrow after work. I might not make the deadline at this rate, but I'm still gonna do it. I got discouraged, but my boyfriend gave me a pep talk and I feel recharged XD He usually makes me feel better when I feel like giving up, so I feel fortunate to have him in my life. =)
I'll have to decide what the style of the manga is going to be, too. I'm definitely gonna try to reel back the heavy shading, because that takes up time XD; I still wonder how some shoujo artists get away with minimal shading, but it still looks natural?? Like what? XD
Anyway, keep rooting for me, ok? =3 Please and thank you XD
So I've been sorta holding off on new art because of a few events. Was spending my time designing a logo, business cards, and a flyer for my mother because she participated ina craft show.
Also, I recently paid off my first Fingerhut purchase, so now I'm approved for credit. I decided to buy a new bed frame since my box spring is 20+ years old and probably full of DEATH. And since my mattress is maybe almost 15 years old, I'm getting a memory foam mattress from Amazon. Also thinking about getting a couple of 3 shelf units so I can organize all my miscellany. Though that's gonna put quite a punch to my account =>.<= But these are things overdue. I had to buy something on Fingerhut to build some credit. Without that, it'd be kinda hard to get a car or anything. I put off getting a credit card for a long time because I always kinda thought credit cards were synonymous with debt. In a way they are, but it's only really bad if you can't keep up with the payments. So if you're responsible with your credit spending, you shouldn't hurt your score too much. I read as a general rule, it's a good idea to spend no more than 30% of your overall limit. If you go over that, you can pay just enough to bring it below that before the first report goes out. So if you had a limit of $500, you shouldn't spend too much more than $150 at a time. That's maybe 10% of your overall credit score, though and what's most important is making payments on time.
Sorry about the rant, I may be half asleep. But since I've got several days off, I'm gonna focus on straightening up and making room for the new bed things. After that, I'll likely be working on revamping Fear to Love for this Medibang manga contest. If I don't win, it'll be up on Tapastic after July.
So Medibang is having a manga contest to find talent outside of Japan. Prizes include 300,000 JPY (About $3000), Publication, and the opportunity to turn your story into a movie~! =D Link is below:
So what do you guys think? Should I take this opportunity to revamp Fear to Love for the contest? I'd always planned to rewrite/draw the story, but I could kill a couple birds with one stone if I had a shot at winning =3 And if I don't win, I can just put it on Tapastic as originally intended. =)
