Day Seventeen of Building Our Deck
Day Four of Tae Kwon Do
They didn't really build much of our deck today. My brother and I couldn't even hear them. Anyhoo! My day was great! I woke up pretty early and saw my parents off again. Then I fell asleep again but this time, I woke up at 11:45. WOAH. Pretty late, if you ask me. And then we made our food. It was pretty good! Then I went upstairs to my bedroom! Then I searched for a new anime since I already finished Special A. And while searching, I came upon this website called MyAnimeList. It's pretty cool! Then I finally found a new anime to watch! Yes, that anime is: Elfen Lied. ... *dot* Yeah. That is so off the type of anime I have been watching recently. Like alot. I've been watching anime about love triangles and well, romance. And now this extremely violent anime? But I really was curious about this particular anime. I mean, I once saw this AMV of it, and all I saw was people's heads popping out. And all I thought was, "Is this what happens in the whole anime?" And of course people's heads don't pop out every single minute in the anime. Yeah, I know that now. And, the anime isn't that bad. Yes, even the opening is pretty creepy and I can tell a story by it, but it's cool. But I really don't feel confortable watching it by myself. Heh. But I guess I'm doing okay considering I'm already on the 6th episode. Anyway, I watched until around 4:00 PM, when my dad came home. Then I got ready. I wanted to read Naruto when I was finished, but I decided on watching more of Elfen Lied. Then after rushing to get ready, we left at about 4:50 PM.
And then we drove to this Asian Store. We go there all the time! Well, atleast once or twice a month or so. We've been going there often though. My brother loves it there because he can get his favorite snacks. I always get Pocky! I just love reading manga and eating Pocky at the same time! :3 Anyways, then we got back in the and drove to our Tae Kwon Do class! And once again, my brother was in control of the iPod. Hmph. Then we ran into the building and took off our shoes. Hmm. The last day. *sighs* First we started off with jumping jacks, then push-ups. Then we went to the pole and stretched our legs out again, practicing our kicks. Then we got in two separate lines, and then did the duck walk (or something like that), and did some other back and forth excersizes. We also had to kick as high as we could. Then we all got into a single line and the two 9 year old girls held up a shield and we had to kick it. We did the side kick! That was fun. I could also feel myself getting stronger everytime I kicked. The first one was for speed, and the second, power. Then we switched sides. FUN! Yup, then we got into a single file line and practiced my favorite kick. We had to kick twice too! I DID WONDERFUL! I made our Master go back! Then we had a water break. Then we practiced the kick alot. And yes, I messed up sometimes. Then we did the blocks. That was fun. We all did 10 blocks, and then at 10, we said, "KEEYAHH!" Haha! And I was the one who said it the most. Heh. Then we practiced the blocks and then my mom came. Then we practiced the punches, and put it all together, blocks and punches. That was fun. Then we put the block, punch, and kick together. I was REALLY good at that. It was fun. Then we practiced our stances. And I finally had it all down and memorized all of them! We did that for a while, and I really remember all of it! And at first it was really confusing! Heh! I got down all the leg positions and hand positions perfectly! Then we did the sitting stance and practiced our punches. I was pretty okay with that. Then we did 3 punches in one turn. Yup. That was fun. Then we had anouther water break. And class was ending soon...! Then it was time. The finale! TO BREAK THE WOOD! Yup! We were all supposed to break this plastic thing, but breaking the wood seemed cooler, plus we get to keep it! The little boy went first. He first did the plastic board, but didn't get it, so he did the wooden board and got it! Then it was the other boy's turn. He did good. Then my turn. I gulped and then punched it! I first did the punching one. And that time, I got it the second time. It hurt my knuckle though. I got a splinter! Then the kick! I did my favorite kick! And I did great! But, I didn't kick it in the middle, and it was uneven. But atleast it broke! Then my brother's turn! He did great! He got all of them in the middle! *sobs* I didn't! Then we watched the 9 year old senior girls break 2 at a time. Not impressed really. In Special A, Hikari broke over 20 in one blow! But, it still is just an anime! :P Anyhoo! Then we took pictures! My dad also recorded us kicking and punching the wood. Heh! Then we got our certificates! This time, I was last to get mine. Heh! And I wasn't able to get a shirt, because they didn't have my size! Just my luck. Hmph. I well. Atleast I got a certificate, and something better than a shirt, some WOOD! Then we bowed for the last time. Aww. Then we took one last picture with our Master, and the two 9 year old senior-level girls who helped us. Then we got some water. Hmm. This time, we had 3 water breaks! Then we said bye. And left. *sobs* It was fun!
Then we got into the car, and my mom stayed to talk to our Master about the real Tae Kwon Do class. Ugh. She's planning to make us attend. NOO!!! Then we left, waving goodbye. Then we drove home and talked about the class and listened to my brother's favorite music, while he talked about random things. My ears hurt. He really is annoying. And then we stopped for gas. When we got home, I went upstairs and watched Elfen Lied in my brother's and my bedroom. Then my dad called us down for dinner! YUM! Pizza to celebrate! Haha! It was good! Then we watched TV. Then we went to my brother's bedroom and I drew. I was going to attempt to read Naruto, but my brother had the TV on, and I couldn't concentrate. Then I watched something on the computer with him, and was called down to take a shower. Then I finished and went upstairs and watched Elfen Lied. And typed this! GOOD DAY, AGAIN!
