Hey, look, the tangerine's back!
Here's the scenario:
I opened up my ancient Apple Powerbook and observed as the screen flickered from a dusty black to a bright and acive screen. Firefox was already up and had saved my previous 4 tabs from the night before. I opened up a new tab and clicked the shortcut I had made on the bar right above the tabs area. I opened up iTunes and double-clicked on my usual playlist, then navigated back to Firefox, where the TheOtaku page had already loaded.
My eyes scrolled down the list of in the first box of my "backroom". My eyes were programmed to automatically pay no attention to the first row on the list-"Fans". I did this because I figured not many otaku would actually subscribe to my conflicting-with-anatomy and simplistic style of drawing.
Hm. 3 new PMs and 2 new comments. I distributed the two links into the two tabs I had opened up about 5 minutes beforehand. After I answered my mail and had reviewed the comments, I closed the two tabs and was found back at the main backroom page.
"Hell, why not?" I thought. I told my eyes to look up to the first row of the blue box. I prepared myself for disappointment, but that is not what I received. I used to have only 3 subscribers last time I had checked my "Fans" status, though I must admit-I fail to recall the last time I had reviewed this particular area. What I found was that my "Fans" had nearly quadrupled since I last paid attention-I had 11 f***ing subscribers!!
End of scenario
I had to make those 7 minutes pretty epic, I couldn't help it =P So, those people that subscribed to me, THANK YOU SO SO SO MUCH!!! XD
As for the winners of my contest, I am currently working on your prizes now(I'm doing the "autographed photos" first, and visa versa for the other prize at times =/).
Okay, I gotta eat breakfast now cuz it's 1:53pm (got up at 1pm) and I'm afraid my puny self will waste away if I don't have something(for those of you with a food fetish of some sort-KaidaFaye avoids typical breakfast food for breakfast, no matter the time of day; she prefers leftovers from the lunch or supper from the day before).
