I can't believe it's that time of year again. And my birthday is coming up, too. Aah! I'm getting old!
Like last year, I'll be doing some copying and pasting from my previous lists. Again, I'll be limiting it to 10 anime plus OCs.
Since I already got my Attack on Titan and Death Note wishes, I won't be asking for those.
The Manga and Anime
In no particular order...
Fullmetal Alchemist I'm just that predictable. I prefer the manga/Brotherhood continuity. If you didn't know by now, I'm a total Greed fangirl. I also like Alphonse. Heck, any of the characters would be fine, since I like almost all of them on some level.
Puella Magi Madoka Magica I watched the series, but not the movies. I'm not sure which girl is my favorite, so I guess Madoka herself is a safe bet. Really, I'd be fine with any of the magical girl characters.
Assassination Classroom I've completed the first season, but not the second. I haven't read the manga, either, though I have a feeling that it was adapted faithfully. Koro-sensei is my favorite character in the series.
Magi I've seen both seasons, but I haven't read the manga (yet). My favorite character is Alibaba, but all of the main characters are so likable that I'd be happy with one or more of them, too.
Cardcaptor Sakura I finished the whole anime, but have not read the manga. My favorite character is actually Kero. I like Sakura and Yukito, too. In fact, I remember that Yukito's birthday is on Christmas (like mine), so maybe you could do something with that.
Gurren Lagann Again, it's been some time since I've seen it, but my memories of it are vivid. I can't decide on a favorite, so any of the main characters will do.
Sailor Moon I've read the manga, seen all of Crystal, and I'm currently three seasons into the original anime. I don't care about spoilers, and the continuity is your choice. My favorite is Sailor Saturn, but any of the Guardians (I guess that's the official term now) is cool with me.
The Seven Deadly Sins I'm not up to date on the manga (thanks, Crunchyroll), and I haven't seen the anime (thanks, Netflix). The last part I remember from the manga is when (SPOILER ALERT!) They had that big tournament hosted by two of the revived demons. My favorite characters are Diane, Ban, and King (not necessarily in that order). From what I hear, Diane's birthday is supposed to be on December 24 (a day before mine). Also Ban x Elaine makes me melt with happiness.
Naruto/Naruto Shippuden I haven't watched it in some time; I kind of paused it right when they're gearing up for the war. I know the manga ended and the series is on its last legs, but the events that I have yet to see have been spoiled for me many times over. Anyway, I want some NaruHina goodness.
Inuyasha I STILL haven't finished this anime (I'm midway through the arc with the Band of Seven) and I haven't read the manga. I'm pretty sure I've been introduced to most (if not all) of the major players in the story, though. Shippou is still my favorite character, but I like the other main characters as well.

Speaking of proof-reading and the like, I'm thinking about what to do with Fiction Feedback Central. Hardly anyone has been posting there. Also, the end of the year is approaching, so it's time to think of another event to host. I have some ideas sitting around SOMEWHERE in this World; I just don't know where they are. Or what they are. Suggestions are also welcome.

And now for something really off topic: Is it wrong that I went shopping today? I mean, it's "Black Friday" and all. I didn't camp outside the store or anything; I just bought some colored pens at an art store. Now I feel bad about that.

Hey, guys. Guess what? I recorded another song today. ^_^ So that means one more prize for my Challenge.
Also, it's that time of year again. I'm talking about theO's Fan Art Secret Santa. This year, Toya is hosting with Kaerlyn. I'm not taking part in hosting, but I hope I can make time to participate. I'm kind of on the fence about that with my art block and all.
So as not to confuse anyone, I'll eventually be deleting my own S.S. World from last year. I'll have it up for a few days in case anyone who participated last year forgot to add their gifts to their Favorites.
On one final note, I just want to say that I love you guys. Right now, I'm really not anywhere near as chipper as I sound in this post, but this place has been a little haven for me. You guys at theO really give me joy.
Sorry it's taken so long to get this thing up and running. I tested the equipment last night, and realized that I needed to buy a few more little things.
I tested this out, but I don't think recording and livestreaming at the same time will work. I'll do my recording thing, and then I can preview the track(s) later.
Remember when I said I was going to make a Challenge and the prize would be my original music? Well, I now have all the equipment to record!
So, I was thinking, would anyone like to see me do the recording? Maybe sometime Friday night? It would kind of be my kickoff to the Challenge, which I hope to post on Saturday.
I think JoinMe had an update that allows sound. If that doesn't work I'll switch to YouNow. Does anyone know of any other services? I've tried Picarto and didn't really like the experience, so don't suggest it.
So, who wants in?
Update: So, I was thinking I'd start between 6 and 7 Central time. Would any of you be able to make it?
Update part deux: My computer decided that now would be a great time to scan for viruses. This could take some time. Would you rather that I put this off for an hour and start around 7:30 Central or should I wait until tomorrow afternoon? There might be a bigger turnout tomorrow because it's a Saturday.
Update the third: I'm going to be pushing the schedule back a little. The stream will start on Saturday between 12:30 and 1:00 Central. I've also decided the Challenge will launch on the 11th. 'Cause that's how loud you're supposed to crank the speakers.
