Kitty Chapter 1; One moral

Kitty stood, her long, black hair waving in the wind. Her eyes a silver mist, sparkling as she looked down at her imp-demon Ju-Ji.
“So,” she said “the guy who owns THIS place wants to hire ME” Ju-Ji nodded.
“Well then, let’s grace him with my presence” Kitty strolled forward, walking past the guards before they could stop her. She waved over her shoulder at them and they both let out small sounds of surprise.

Kitty got into the main building. This man was rich. The place was huge and beautifully decorated. He had obviously invited her there to try and convince her to take the job. He was, inadvertently, trying to bend her to his will. She probably would take the job, she didn’t understand why he thought she wouldn’t. She had a reputation for taking any job that she was offered. Kitty didn’t care about the money, she had enough to live in a place like this anyway, she just chose not to.
“Ah,” called a voice “you must be Kitty” Kitty turned at the sound of the voice and her name. She had already known someone was there, watching her, but there were so many people in the place that she was bound to attract a little attention. The owner of the voice was a richly dressed man in his forties.

Kitty looked at him suspiciously, the silver fading from her eyes, turning a neutral brown.
“Why did you want to hire me?” she asked bluntly.
“I heard you don’t have any morals” he responded as if it was the most obvious thing in the world.
“I have a few.” Kitty responded “But why do you want someone without morals?” he looked at her, waving a thin envelope in her face.
“I will give you $250, 000 now,” he said “and $250, 000 after the job is done”
“And what is the job?” Kitty responded
“I want you to kill a child” Kitty looked at him, her eyes turning red, along with the streak in her hair.

Kitty let out a cry of anger, grabbing the long, heavy, thick-wooded table and flinging it across the room as if it were weightless. It smashed into the far wall.
“You dare ask me to go against my ONLY moral!?” Kitty screamed at hi, her voice power ridden.
“I thought you said you had a few.” The man responded, a little in shock.
“I lied.” She hissed at him. Both her hands sliced through the air. The two guards fell down, clutching bleeding chests. Kitty grabbed two of the expensive vases that lined the walls. She threw them at the opposite wall, shattering them into thousands of fragments.

Kitty flew up to the man who was trying to hire her. She grabbed him by the throat lifting him into the air. She slammed him into a nearby wall.
“I am not taking your job!” she said in a small, but deadly, voice. Letting him go, Kitty walked away.
“Are you sure you don’t want the job?” he asked, standing up slowly. Kitty looked at him, her eyes a fiery red. She kicked him in the face, a line of blood shimmered in the air for a second, before they fell, splattering the ground like red paint. Kitty didn’t answer the question. She turned and walked out, pausing briefly to collect the money he had offered her, she had come and been asked to go against the only thing she didn’t do, she needed some sort of payment.
