thE Zanpakuto suRbeii... [suRvey!] .... Part 3...

huami22 : Hi! This is another survey from me, huami22.. hehe ^^ this the : "thE Zanpakutō suRbeii... [suRvey!] .... Part 3... "

Question #1 : Which Zanpakutō is the one you want to have?

Question #2 : In what form? Shikai (始解)? or Bankai (卍解)?

I. Kenpachi's Zanpakutō? (Sorry but he don't know the name of his Zanpakutō...)

External Image

Kenpachi's Zanpakutō

Shikai Abilities:There is much dispute as to whether or not Kenpachi has achieved a true Shikai release. Despite not knowing its name his Zanpakutō is constantly released in some form of released state due to his immense Spiritual Pressure (much like Ichigo's Zangetsu). The sword's appearance is a reflection of Kenpachi's own practice of weakening himself to fight: it is a seemingly worn-down and dull blade with a guard that extends inward from its center. The blade is much longer than that of a standard Zanpakutō. Despite its appearance, it is easily capable of cutting through most objects. This is demonstrated when he stabs straight through Ichigo's Zanpakutō and later slices a building in half with careless effort after releasing the full force of his spiritual power.

Shikai Special Ability: None

Bankai: Not Achieved

J. Kurotsuchi's Ashisogi Jizō (疋殺地蔵)?

External Image

Ashisogi Jizō (疋殺地蔵)Ksitigarbha is a bodhisattva that watches over children and the underworld. In Japan, where he is known as Jizō, he looks rather like a baby dressed as a Buddhist monk; Mayuri's Zanpakutō has what looks like a giant baby's head on it. Its hilt is wrapped in cloth, and has several spiky protrusions sticking out right below the blade, which appear to resemble leaves. Unlike most Shinigami, his Zanpakutō's sheath hangs directly in front of him, instead of to his side as they are commonly worn.

Shikai Abilities:

Shikai Special Ability:The baby's mouth secretes a poisonous vapor in this form. The weapon works like the venom of a spider bite; when an opponent is stabbed by Ashisogi Jizō, it severs the brain signals controlling the neural impulses for movement in the limb's of the victim, regardless of where they were struck. Unlike regular paralysis, the pain receptors and nerve endings are unaffected by the weapon, so the victim can still feel pain, even in a paralyzed limb. During the Bount arc, it is shown that healing the stab wound does not immediately remove the inflicted paralysis.

Bankai Abilities:

Bankai Special Ability: The creature breathes a poisonous derivative of Mayuri's blood which is lethal to anyone who breathes it, aside from Mayuri and Nemu. Numerous blades can also extend from its chest, allowing it to run through and skewer opponents. Only Mayuri has a cure for its poison, though Nemu usually carries it around. Mayuri can change the composition of the poison, as well, ensuring that no foolproof antidote can ever be manufactured to cure it, and no immunity developed against it. Mayuri has physically modified Konjiki Ashisogi Jizō itself so that it will self-destruct and return to its sealed state if it were to attack him, implying that it is sentient as well as organic, reminiscent of Captain Retsu Unohana's Minazuki.
Mayuri's Zanpakutō also has the ability to transform Mayuri into a liquid when he stabs himself with its blade. Doing so doesn't kill him, but instead simply leaves him unable to attack or be attacked, making it an effective escape tool. He reforms after a few days. It's uncertain whether this ability is entirely the product of Ashisogi Jizō, since he specifically relates the ability to himself, not opponents. His various physical modifications may have something to do with the effect.

K. Jūshirō's Sōgyo no Kotowari (双魚の理)?

External Image

Sōgyo no Kotowari (双魚の理)

Shikai Abilities:

Its Shikai command is "All Waves, Rise now and Become my Shield, Lightning, Strike now and Become my Blade" (naki kotogotoku waga tate to nare, ikazuchi kotogotoku waga yaiba to nare). Once he completes the incantation, he grasps the single blade with two hands. The blade then transforms slowly and begins to form two blades. As the blades peel apart, the large rope-like chain at the base of the blade lengthens and the silver metal squares attached the chain begin to fall until all 5 present themselves. The blade is now somewhat thinner than the normal Zanpakutō and the crossguard is no longer present. About 250cm from where the cross guard used to be, there is a 45 degree cut on the inside of the blade where a second blade is jutting back down and parallel to the main blade. With the edge of the blade facing inward instead of outward, the blade looks very artistic and rather difficult to handle

Bankai: Not yet revealed

L. Tōsen's Suzumushi (清虫)?

External Image

Suzumushi (清虫)looks like a regular katana. Its crossguard is shaped like a tear drop, and at the wide part of the teardrop are several teardrop-shaped holes. Hanging off the tear's tip is a small ring. The ring itself plays a vital role in the activation of Tōsen's Bankai. Additionally, he is unique in that his Zanpakutō was not originally his; it belonged to the unnamed friend who set him on his path. It is unclear how exactly he can wield it, or what implications this has.

Shikai Abilities:

Shikai Special Ability: maintains its form of a regular katana.
Suzumushi's regular release command is "Cry" (鳴け, nake), which has the automatic effect of projecting a high-pitched tone over a wide area, overloading the hearing of anyone in range and knocking them unconscious. (This comparatively humane and painless technique fits with Tōsen's self-presentation as a proponent of justice.)

Benihikō (清虫式紅飛蝗)Suzumushi's second release command is "Smash His Limbs" (四肢を潰すよ, shishi o tsubusu yo), which changes Suzumushi into its Benihikō form. Suzumushi vibrates momentarily and, after Tōsen moves the blade around him in a circle, a trail appears from the sword's path. The trail turns into hundreds of blades that rain down on his opponents. In the English manga and dubbed anime, Tōsen merely says to Komamura that he will break Kenpachi's limbs.

Bankai Abilities:

Bankai Special Ability:creates a large, black dome centered at Tōsen's location and anchored to the ground with ten rings. Anyone within the dome loses the ability to sense anything around them, what Tōsen called Mumyō (ignorance). The only sense they retain is that of touch. Unlike most Zanpakutō, Tōsen's Suzumushi does not convert itself into the massive dome that it materializes during Bankai. Instead, the dome serves as a separate extention of Suzumushi itself, allowing Tōsen to still wield its sealed form to be used as a weapon while inside the dome, but cannot use its abilities. The technique's main shortcoming is that anyone touching Suzumushi's hilt- not just Tōsen himself- is immune to the dome's effects, so anyone able to grab Suzumushi recovers their senses. Another weakness is that while Tōsen cannot be seen by the enemies subject to his bankai's effect, they can still avoid his attacks and potentially counterattack if they overcome their fear of the darkness.
