Bleach (ブリーチ, Burīchi?, romanized as BLEACH in Japan) is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Tite Kubo. Bleach follows the adventures of Ichigo Kurosaki after he accidentally obtains the power of a shinigami from Rukia Kuchiki. A shinigami is a Japanese death personification similar to the Grim Reaper. Gaining these abilities forces him to take on the duties of defending humans from evil spirits and guiding departed souls to the afterlife.

the BountS sssssUrbeeeeiiiiii [ suRvey! ] hehe ^^ Part 1...

Question # 1: Which of these Bounts is the one you hate the most?

Question # 2: Which of these Bounts is your favorite?

A. The Leader, Jin Kariya (狩矢 神)?

External Image

Jin Kariya (狩矢 神)is the leader of the vampiric Bounts. As such, he is, undoubtedly, the strongest member of the Bounts and is Ichigo Kurosaki's main rival throughout the Bount arc, having fought the latter three times over the course of the arc.(other info will be post next time hehe ^^)

B. Gō Koga (古賀 剛)?

External Image

Gō Koga (古賀 剛)is a large and muscular man who resembles a punkish biker with spiky orange hair. Even without using his doll, Koga has impressive physical strength, able to easily overpower Ichigo with just his bare hands. His doll is Dalk, a female metallic doll who can control her molecules and reshape herself at will. According to episode 83, Koga's real name is Claude Gauguin, and he lived in a European country in years past. He has lived for over 12 generations. After a falling out with Kariya over his plan to destroy Soul Society, which Koga found too extreme, Koga attempted to find and stop Kariya himself. He ended up fighting and losing to Tōshirō Hitsugaya instead, as neither he nor Dalk could contend with the extreme cold and long-range nature of Hitsugaya's Zanpakutō. He did not die, however, and was secretly taken by Yoruichi Shihōin to Rantao's home, where he was nursed back to health. Upon discovering that he was the last Bount, he apologized for the actions of his race, and Kariya in particular. He was last seen living with Rantao. No mention is made of Dalk's fate; however, considering that Bount are supposed to die with their dolls, it can be assumed that she either still exists in some form, or that Koga is merely an exception to conventional Bount rules, like Yoshino.

C. Hō (鵬) and Ban (磐)?

External Image

Hō (鵬) and Ban (磐)are child-like twin Bounts who work together telepathically and use their dolls (Hō controls Guhl and Ban controls Günther) to manipulate water. They attacked Karakura Hospital in an attempt to kidnap Uryū Ishida. They were defeated by a combined effort from Noba (whose plush form at the time afforded him immunity against the Bount Doll's power) and the newly arrived Ganju Shiba. After Noba used repetitive short distance teleports to knock Ban unconscious, forcing Hō to control both dolls simultaneously, Ganju destroyed their dolls with fireworks, killing the twins as a result.

D. Ryō Udagawa (宇田川 稜)?

External Image

Ryō Udagawa (宇田川 稜)Udagawa looks much like the traditional depictions of a vampire, and views all humans as food. His doll is Fried, a snake-like creature that can copy itself. He secretly plots to overthrow Kariya as leader by stealing his seal, but is killed by Maki Ichinose.

Question: Which of the 13 captains is your favorite?

M. Captain of 13th Division : Jūshirō Ukitake (浮竹 十四郎)?

External Image

Jūshirō Ukitake (浮竹 十四郎) is the captain of the 13th Division. He suffers from tuberculosis, and so has a sickly appearance. His illness acts as an inhibition for him throughout the series; if he fights for too long, or even becomes too agitated, the illness flares up.He is forced to leave most of his duties as a captain to his subordinates so that he can rest. Despite this, Jūshirō is respected by many Soul Reapers for his honesty, loyalty, and personal sense of justice. He and his friend Shunsui Kyōraku are two of the oldest captains in the Gotei 13, both having trained under General Yamamoto thousands of years before the current Bleach storyline

Question: "Which of the 13 Captains is your favorite?

I. Captain of the 9th Division : Kaname Tōsen (東仙 要)?

External Image

Kaname Tōsen (東仙 要)is the captain of the 9th Division at the start of the series. He has been blind since birth, but is capable of using his spiritual sense to "see". Tōsen is an extremely calm and serious pacifist, though he will not restrain from fighting for what he believes in or preserving justice. These philosophies were adopted from a peaceful friend he had before becoming a Soul Reaper. When her husband killed her for nagging him, Tōsen became disillusioned that such a righteous person could be killed for such an insignificant reason. After that his creed in life became to "take the path with the least bloodshed". It is for this reason that he feels it necessary to join Sōsuke Aizen in defecting from the Soul Reapers at the conclusion of the Soul Society arc.

J. Captain of the 10th Division : Tōshirō Hitsugaya (日番谷 冬獅郎)?

External Image

Tōshirō Hitsugaya (日番谷 冬獅郎)is very young by Soul Society standards. Born in Rukongai, he became the youngest ever to reach captain rank. Thus, he is called a "boy genius" or a "child prodigy" by many. Hitsugaya is very short and his height is comparable to Rukia Kuchiki's. He also has spiky silver-white hair (which tends to draw attention in the human world) and teal-emerald eyes, which evokes his ability of controlling ice and water. He wears standard captain's clothing, save for a green sash around his shoulders which holds Hyōrinmaru, his zanpakutō.

K. Captain of the 11th Division : Kenpachi Zaraki (更木 剣八)?

External Image

Kenpachi Zaraki (更木 剣八)has a wild and aggressive appearance, fitting with his personality. He wears his captain's jacket without sleeves, and with a more ragged look to it. He acquired his jacket from the previous 11th Division captain, whom he defeated and killed in a duel in order to become captain. He styles his hair into spikes with bells at the tips, which Tite Kubo has remarked that this makes his hair one of the most difficult to draw in the series. He also wears a special eye patch on his right eye lined with a strange creature created by the 12th Division. It absorbs the bulk of his power. Both of these are meant to give enemies an advantage, similar to his habit of fighting one-handed, as in an unhandicapped state he would defeat them so quickly that he would be unable to enjoy himself sufficiently to delve into a state of bloodlust, that being what he treasures most. He has a huge scar on the left side of his face, apparently gained well before his time in Soul Society (and even before finding Yachiru).

L. Captain of the 12th Division : Mayuri Kurotsuchi (涅 マユリ)?

External Image

Mayuri Kurotsuchi (涅 マユリ)is the captain of the 12th Division. He personifies the stereotype of the mad scientist, viewing everyone as objects to be dissected in the lab. He takes great pride in his experiments and the things he has created (such as his daughter Nemu) and condemns the concept of perfection. He has made extensive modifications to his body: his left arm can extend like a grappling hook and by pulling out his ears he can form a scythe. Mayuri has little regard for life or allegiances, readily turning his own subordinates into human bombs on one occasion. In the past this potential danger he posed to Soul Society led to his imprisonment when he joined the Soul Reapers. Kisuke Urahara, upon becoming captain of the 12th Division, recognized his potential as a scientist and released Mayuri to help him with his research.

I will repeat the question... : "Which of the 13 captains is your favorite?

E. Captain of the 5th Division : Sōsuke Aizen (藍染 惣右介)?

External Image

Sōsuke Aizen (藍染 惣右介)Aizen is a soft-spoken intellectual, accented by glasses during his time as a Soul Reaper captain. While he appears to be very kind to his subordinates, he cares very little for them in truth. According to Aizen himself, he is not bound by morals and will therefore stop at nothing to further his ambitions, including manipulating or killing anyone if he deems it necessary. Tite Kubo stated in an interview that "part of Aizen's appeal is that he's mysterious," and for this reason he didn't think it's a good idea to go too much in-depth with the character.

F. Captain of the 6th Division : Byakuya Kuchiki (朽木 白哉)?

External Image

Byakuya Kuchiki (朽木 白哉)is the 28th head of the noble Kuchiki clan, one of the four great noble families in Soul Society. As such, Byakuya acts in an aristocratic manner — he seems always serene and apathetic towards other people, even when he is actually deeply conflicted. He is also extremely calm, even in battle, and is very seldom surprised by even the most drastic of actions. Ironically, when he was younger, he was quick to anger and very hotheaded, as noted by his grandfather, Ginrei Kuchiki.

G. Captain of the 7th Division : Sajin Komamura (狛村 左陣)?

External Image

Sajin Komamura (狛村 左陣)is the captain of the 7th Division. He is an anthropomorphic canine who is very self-conscious about his appearance, and so wears a large helmet that conceals his entire head when he is first introduced. After his fight with Kenpachi Zaraki (during which his helmet is destroyed), he gains enough confidence to go without the helmet. His canine appearance is often the source of jokes; for example, when his lieutenant asks where to find a bathroom, he appears to direct him to a fire hydrant, though he is in fact pointing at a bathroom just around the corner. Komamura has a close friendship with Kaname Tōsen, and is shocked when the latter defects from Soul Society, feeling that his friend has abandoned his morals. Komamura resolves to awaken Tōsen with his own hands. Komamura is immensely strong, as demonstrated by his ability to hurl the arrancar Po's massive released state over his head and onto the ground.

H. Captain of 8th Division : Shunsui Kyōraku (京楽 春水)?

External Image

Shunsui Kyōraku (京楽 春水)is the captain of the 8th Division. He is a laid back and flamboyant man, evident in his style of dress: he wears a straw hat and a woman's pink flowered kimono over his captain's uniform. In his off time, he can be seen drinking sake and napping. Other times, he likes to chase after women, particularly his lieutenant. Kyōraku tends to use a more familiar speech style than most other characters in Bleach; he generally refers to his fellow captains and Soul Reapers by their first name followed by an honorific. Kyōraku is a peace-loving man who will always try to find a nonviolent solution, though he does not wish to insult opponents by refusing to fight. He and his friend Jūshirō Ukitake are two of the oldest captains in the Gotei 13. They both trained under General Yamamoto, who Kyōraku calls Old-man Yama (山じい , Yama-jii?).
