Elena left to let me rest.
‘So what do you want to do? Did you want to take a nap before meeting the girls at 7?’ Nori questioned.
“I was thinking of actually baking them something. I’m not a huge fan of taking naps no matter how tired I am.” I answered getting up from the desk and getting down on my knees to get one of my tote’s out from under my bed.
When I had time when I was younger I loved to bake for the fundraisers that we would do for my gymnastics club. I kept with it even after my accident. I actually found it was another way to cope with the how not being able to walk thing.
“I should probably go and see if there’s even a stove in the dorms now that I think about it.” I muttered to myself and the door opened.
I looked over and Austin walked into the room. “Hey.” He said.
“Hey…” I answered quietly and looked down at my tote and popped off the lid.
“I’m sorry for signing you us for a club with out asking you first. I just wanted to be in a club together and I guess I got so excited that I didn’t think of asking first.” Austin Apologized which was kind of surprising. With how he was acting earlier I didn’t think I would get one.
“I-it’s okay. I’m sorry I got so upset about it.” I answered as I pulled out another tote and popped the lid on that one as well to see what I had.
“So…what are you up to?” Austin asked
“I-I was going to make some sweets for Elena and Alexa, t-to apologize for what happened earlier. I-I was also going to take them out to dinner in town, i-if you want to come.” I offered.
“You bake?” He asked raising an eyebrow.
I nodded “Y-yeah…”
“Dude, do you know how many women are going to be hanging all over you because of that?!” He exclaimed and grabbed my shoulders to spin me around so I was facing him.
“I-I doubt it.” I laughed a little looking away form him. “It’s just baking.”
“It’s just baking. Do you know how many girls love a man that can cook let alone bake?” He asked me.
“Maybe I shouldn’t tell him I can cook too.” I commented to Nori and I heard him chuckle.
‘There ya go Noel you don’t have to learn anything just win everyone over with cooking and sweets.’ Nori commented.
“N-no I don’t really.” I finally answered him.
“You, me, your teaching me how to bake now.” Austin said confidently.
“B-baking isn’t something that you can j-just learn in a day.” I answered simply.
“Come on ya have to teach me, please.” He begged.
‘Just teach him, so he stops whining.’ Nori commented.
“Master Noel I think you should teach him. Even if it’s something simple.” Yun mentioned.
“A-alright alright. I’ll teach you h-how to make cookies.” I answered.
He took his hands off my shoulders and put a finger in my face poking my noes. “That simply won’t do. You need to teach me something more difficult.”
“R-really?” I asked. If I was in an anime I would be having a serious sweat drop moment right now.
“YES! We will make something complicated!” He responded standing with his fists on his hips like he was some kind of super hero.
‘Wow…’ Nori said. I couldn’t tell if he was impressed or if he was slapping his forehead from what he was seeing play out in front of him.
“Oh okay.” I couldn’t help but chuckle a little as I got up and went over to my desk to pull out my desert recipe book and handed it to Austin. “P-Pick something and we’ll make it. H-how’s that sound?”

This Austin kid is definitely a character that’s for sure. Though with how he was acting, I kind of was getting the feeling that he was trying to make Noel feel a bit better. At the same time the kid did seem interested in baking. Though I know from experience that baking is not for everyone. Noel sat on his bed and waited for Austin to pick something out of the book that he handed him.
“This!” Austin said going up to Noel in a few quick strides to show him what he picked.
“Chocolate trifle…we can do that. I’ll have to run to the little store in town to get some whipped cream and condensed milk.” Noel commented reading the ingredients. He must have a good memory to remember if he had chocolate
“But they take a long time to make. We won’t be able to give them to them tonight since it takes 8 hours.” Austin stated reading more of the book. “And it makes a lot of servings. And do you have these trifle dishes with you?”
Noel shook his head, “No I don’t but I have a f-fair bit of plastic cups…and we can always cut the serving size down so we don’t make so much.” Noel responded and pulled out out of his two bags of red solo cups.
“Good to know where I can go to get a red solo cup if I ever go to a party.” Austin chuckled. “So do you need me to help out with getting things.”
“I-If you want to help that’s fine. W-we can make the trifle in the room, s-so that’ll be fine.” Noel stated as he grabbed his car key and wallet.
“So what should I do then?” Austin asked.
“Y-you can get everything out and ready. W-with in the two bins I have out, y-you should be able to find what we need. O-other then the milk and whip cream. I’ll be right back.” Noel stated he glanced over at Yun and made a small motion for him to stay in the room with Austin and then headed out of the room.
'So how do you purpose that your able to give the girls the sweets when you get back from dinner tonight?’ I asked sitting back and crossing my arms over my chest.
“I was going to put them in the freezer after we finish them then switch them over to the fridge before we leave.” Noel responded. “Do you think that you could help me out a bit though.”
‘Sure what do you need?’ I asked sitting up and my ears perked up.
“Is there anyway that you could get us to the store faster with out us being seen?” he asked.
‘I think I can help with that.’ I smirked and stood up. ‘Find a place where we can switch.’
Noel did what I said and he went into stairwell that was between two buildings and we switched places. I teleported onto the top of the building on my left.
“Oh Wow, this is amazing!” Noel exclaimed from seeing the view.
‘Maybe at some point you’ll be able to use my powers yourself.’ I responded as I looked around and spotted the small convenient store. 'Ah, there it is.’ I said and teleported into the tree that was behind the store. I rested on one of the branches and then we switched back.
“Thanks Nori.” Noel said and made his way down the tree then ran into the convenient store. He got the whip cream and condensed sweetened milk along with a bit more chocolate just in case and then he went back to behind the store and looked around. “Okay, we’re good.” He said and we switched once more.
I got us back to the stairwell that we started off after having to wait a minuet or two for some students to pass through. Then we switched back and Noel made it the rest of the way back to the room. Yun was sitting on the bed now curiously watching Austin. He seemed so enthused that something must have happened while we were away, but Austin covered it up pretty well so it was no harm no fowl.
“Geez did you sprint there and back or something, that was fast.” Austin commented as he had out what was probably everything that we needed to make these things.
Noel laughed a little and set the bag down and they got to work with the deserts. It didn’t take them long to get them made. Well Noel pretty much made them and Austin watched then helped get them carefully into the freezer.
“S-so are you going to come with the girls and I out to dinner tonight?” Noel asked as he looked to see that there was only a half an hour before they were going to meet up to go out. The deserts have been sitting in the freezer for about 2 hours now, which wasn’t too bad. Hopefully everything worked out right.
“Sure, why not. It takes two to tango and we did kinda upset the original plans for today having that fight.” Austin commented putting his hands in his pockets.
“Th-then we need to get ready.” Noel stated going over to his dresser to get a decent shirt out.
“At least we don’t need a lot of time to do that.” Austin chuckled and went to the closet to do the same thing.
This was going to be an interesting double date then. I’m curious to see how this will turn out. “Don’t forget to move the deserts to the fridge before you go and get the girls and or they come down. It’s supposed to be a surprise isn’t it?” I reminded Noel just in case. I know that we were both running on low energy at it was. But hey two minds are better then one.
‘R-right, thanks Nori, I would have forgotten and then they would have been ruined from getting freezer burnt.’ Noel said and went to the closet where they kept Noel’s Mini fridge and shifted the cups from the freezer to the fridge. ‘We have to make sure that we leave food out for Yun in conspicuously so Austin doesn’t question it. I’m a little upset that we can’t take him with us.’
“But if your food just magically starts to float and disappear out of nowhere Austin and Alexa might freak out.” I sighed I could tell that Noel was also a little upset that we had to leave Yun in the room.
‘I have crackers and fruit snacks. Oh also I have an apple I can leave out.’ Noel offered.
“I think that would be plenty.” I agreed and Noel slowly got the stuff out and onto the desk along with leaving a sticky note under the apple to tell Yun to get the stuff into the trash bin that was at the end of the desk when he was done.
Austin didn’t seem to notice as Noel did this so we were all good to go. Hopefully everything else went as smoothly tonight as getting this food for Yun out.
