Hmm, recently I got my hands on Ren'py and I'm starting to make a visual novel. No dating sim included, just a visual novel. There is "love" but I'm not sure how that'll work out. It's just in the beginning processes at the moment. Maybe I'll upload scenes here and there when I make them. lulz. We'll see how it goes.
Challenge For Everyone!
Okay, I have a challenge for everyone that I thought would be cool. Go onto something that has music on it (Youtube or any program that can play music) and make a playlist of about 8-12 songs. Choose a cast of characters and then write/type snippets with them in it for every song on the playlist.
For every song that you chose, you write a snippet for that song ONLY during that song and you can’t go back to it once the song ends. You can have fun with it and add a few extra things like putting the playlist on shuffle or just write for an entire CD you have.
I’m know there are memes out there like this. On dA, there’s a meme that is for quick sketches and on fanfiction.net, I’ve seen a drabble challenge. Let’s just say it helps a lot with writer’s block…or it just really kills boredom.
