My Story
Lately, I've noticed a little munch crunch in my kitchen. My initial thoughts were, "it must be a big roach." You can usually hear them eat if there really big (Y'know, the ones that fly) Anyway's, that's when I began to investigate. As I opened a draft, there, in the mist of those unused, ketchup sized packages, stood a small, baby rat. I stood paralyzed for two seconds as the information registered and then squealed!
Immediately, the rat jumped and ran towards the exit door. However, the doors were locked. That's when it ran down the hallway. I chased hard after it and noticed it went underneath my door. It hid behind my furniture.
Then I picked up my hamster, Dusty, to maybe make amends. He didn't take it.
That's when I picked up the hairspray arsenal. After spraying him a few times with the hairspray and making him run circled around my room, I just figured I was giving him a really nice hairstyle.
I needed a new weapon. A trap.
Then I made a trap, like the ones you see the boycotts make in the forest to catch small animals. It ended up backfiring on me as he would take the food and run off. This mice had a mind of it's own. At times, I felt the hunter was being hunted.
This went on for six hours. At 7 AM, my dad woke up. That's when I asked for his assistance. Amazing, we were able to find the rat hidding inside my furniture. It was able to get in by a small hole. And we were able to kill it. It felt like Tom and Jerry. And I was the cat.

Q (Melissa): If God loves his children, why does God allow suffering?
A (Me): Sometimes, God will allow some sufferings to make us grow stronger. Olympics athletes usually have to go through rigorous training that pushes their bodies to their limits. This builds endurance, stamina and strength so when the big day comes, they will be able to withstand the rigors of the Olympics games.
