Part 9: The Fight

Mikuru didn't sleep though, she just watched the two cuddled up together. She looked at the wedding band. When Haruhi and Kyon shared their love physicly, the wedding band that connected Mikuru to Kyon, would dissolve. She wished that they weren't just cuddling, so that she wouldn't have to remember her wedding to Kyon, for when the wedding band dissolved, the wedding would have never happened. She also wouldn't have to be haunted by the seer's prediction, because it would have changed.
Around six in the morning, she woke Yuki up, and told her about what she knew was going to happen. The two hid in the closet, with a small crack in the door, so that they could watch.
Itsuki rolled off of the pullout couch, and awoke with a start. He looked around for Kyon, but he wasn't there. He looked into the girl's room, and there, he saw Kyon, wrapped around Haruhi.
Itsuki grabbed Kyon by the collar, and dragged him into the family room. He slapped Kyon across the face, to wake him up.
"What the hell is the matter with you?! I turn my back for a couple of hours, and I find my best friend sleeping with my girlfriend from behind my back?!" Kyon broke free of Itsuki's grasp.
"What?! We weren't sleeping together! She was calling me! You should've seen her! She was having some sort of nightmare, she was screaming things like 'I'm going to die!' Hearing terror like that, tears your soul apart, man. I just had to fight her fears away." Kyon dodged another one of Itsuki's punches, and was then backed up to the wall.
"Listen, buddy," Itsuki growled, grabbing Kyon's throught. "The only reason I'm even using that stupid girl is-" Kyon grabbed Itsuki's arm, and flipped him onto the ground. He kicked Itsuki in the stomach between words.
"Don't. Call. My. Haruhi. STUPID!!" Kyon felt blood cover his hands and he punched Itsuki in various places. Itsuki slumped against the wall, but Kyon continued to punch him.
Mikuru flew out of the closet, and grabbed Kyon's bloody fist.
"No, Kyon! Any more, and you'll kill him!" She shrieked as Yuki grabbed Kyon's waist.
"Stop it," Yuki growled. "It's not Itsuki, he's been posessed since the pool party!"
Itsuki started laughing manicly, in a voice too deep, and evil to belong to the friendly high school student. The more the thing inside him laughed, the more Itsuki shook, and thrashed like a limp puppet.
"Quick," Yuki said. "Embrace the cliché of this planet!"
"By doing what?! dumping water on him?!" mikuru ran into the bathroom, and turned the shower on.
"Bring him in here!"
Kyon lifted Itsuki onto his shoulders, carried him into the bathroom, threw him into the shower, and closed the curtain.
They heard Itsuki's natural scream, and white light errupted around the room. Then, the power went out. Itsuki emerged from the shower, naked. Mikuru and Yuki covered their eyes, and ran into the girl's room. Itsuki looked around, and rubbed his forehead.
"What happened to me? Whey am I wet? Where am I? Was I kissing Haruhi? I need to leave her Kyon, because I don't love her. I'M GAY!" Kyon backed away, and laughed nervously.
"Not for me, I hope!" Itsuki winked at him.
"Maybe, maybe not!"
Itsuki walked out to living room, and put some clothes on. He looked at the blood splattered on the wall. With a wave of his hands, it was gone. He slowly walked into the girl's room, and gently shook Haruhi awake.
"Itsuki," Haruhi said."I'm sorry, I can't love you. Let's break up."
