Ranking the Songs of Aikatsu

This is an idea I've been meaning to do. Aikatsu has one of the finest music libraries in all of anime but which one is the best?
Now all these ranks are based on the original Aikatsu series and Aikatsu Friends. This will be updated frequently.

Move on Now
It's average when sung by Kanzaki Mizuki as it sounds like a vocaloid track
6.5/10

Idol Activity
Pretty much the official theme song of Aikatsu as a whole. Very much Ichigo's song. Performed better solo by Ichigo rather than the duet with Aoi or Mizuki.
8.0/10

Aikatsu Friends
From the Best Friends group Aine and Mio, it's a song that feels at home in Aikatsu yet doesn't really do much different to Idol Activity
7.2/10

Believe It
This song really benefits from being the ending theme and only gets better with Love Me Tear's performance. Karen and Mirai just completely own the stage.
9.5/10

The Scene Above 6cm
Mio really makes this performance into a spectacular catwalk show, the song though doesn't grab me as much.
8.2/10

Thank you<>I'll be Alright
A charming song that also serves as Aikatsu Friends opening, despite the focus on friends, Aine sings the song better solo.
8.4/10

Prism Spiral
A very generic song that lacks impact mostly because it started as a background piece for fashion show performances already losing impact well before Aoi gets a chance to perform it proper.
6.9/10

Identity
Identity is a testament to how good Mirai is at performing, the song has many dimensions that fit it's theme and creates the right tone, my only complaint is the coord chosen should've been one of the later Milky Joker creations. Performed even better with Aine and Mirai together.
9.5/10

Angel Snow
A very upbeat song but I'm not a fan of the staging, I half expected something more wintery for a song called Angel Snow.
5.7/10

Girls Be Ambitious
Great song, great staging, great theme, Aikatsu Friends is really doing well with it's music.
9.8/10

We Wish You A Merry Christmas
Wouldn't surprise me if this was a regular Christmas song for the Japanese music charts although the performance is alot to be desired.
7.0/10

Trap of Love
A song that's a little dated by Aikatsu standards and this was 2013, doesn't really go in it's favour.
6.3/10

Overflowing With Love
If you needed more proof that Love Me Tear is in a different league then Karen's solo song will more than suffice.
9.5/10

Midnight Skyhigh
The song would pass for a good performance except there isn't one and it's relegated to the background.
3.5/10

You x I
Honey Cat's debut song bares all the hallmarks of a late 90s Sega theme with a decent choreographed performance.
8.7/10

Everyone Everyone
A rare miss from Aikatsu Friends but not entirely, it lacks the edge some of the other tunes have had, especially when we've already seen such good songs.
7.2/10

Signalize
I can over look the staging as it's plot relevant to the episode and the fact that it's also the opening means I've heard it a number of times, but it's still average for Aikatsu.
7.0/10

Guided
Everytime a new character arrives in Friends, their solo performance blows me away and Sakuya's is no exception. Great staging and great opening.
9.4/10

Growing For A Dream
Originally a fashion show song, it got it's proper performance much later, it's a small improvement on the original but nothing more.
5.5/10

Glass Doll
Rated one of the best Aikatsu songs ever and it's not difficult to see why, it starts off like a Nightwish song and gets better from there.
9.8/10

Okay Period
Ema's solo song is something that does suit her, even if she looks like a 90s street dancer performing it, the song itself lacks the edge of other Friends songs, so not as great.
7.2/10

Thrilling Dream
Thrilling Dream is a non performance piece but should've been a Masquerade performance piece.
4.9/10

Calendar Girl
It functions as the ending theme and is average overall.
7.0/10

Ponytail After School
Another fashion show track that feels more at home in a JRPG not an idol show.
4.0/10

Happiness on the Same Earth
With a beautiful piece of choreography, Sakura's debut continues the improving Aikatsu songs.
9.0/10

Shining Sky on the G String
I expected the major group performance to be good, it was fine, it suited Aikatsu.
7.9/10

Bond Synchro Harmony
Reflect Moon's best song, only let down by average choreography.
9.3/10

Coincidence, Inevitable
Kaguya proving that Reflect Moon dominate Aikatsu Friends in best songs, it sounds like a rwby track.
9.5/10

Wake Up My Music
Masquerade's song is a modern Aikatsu classic and one of the standout songs in season 1.
9.2/10

Fashion Check
It sounds like a Katamari song and is staged like it to.
6.8/10

Let's Find It
It felt like it belonged in the correct era of Friends release but it also reminded us why Honey Cat are the weakest team.
7.2/10

Take Me Higher
A pretty decent song all round but largely over played on debut losing it's impact each play.
7.0/10

Diamond Happy
The 2nd opening of Aikatsu has all the high energy of a proper Aikatsu song, it's near damn perfect.
9.6/10

Hirari/Hitori/Kirari
Star Anis debut song and regular ending theme for the anime, quite a show stopper but suffers from being too normal.
8.0/10

Pride
Love Me Tear are powerful in this performance, this is them at their best.
10/10

The Thing That's Only There
The 2nd opening is Pure Palette's answer to the Love Me Tear song Pride, while it is a great performance it's no where near as good as Pride.
9.0/10

Let's Aikatsu Together
Pretty underwhelming song for Pure Palette's debut, it lacks the bite of many of Friends songs.
6.8/10

Have a Dream
Reflect Moon thrive on being different and this song is no exception, has the same energy as a 90s Anime ending theme.
9.3/10

Moonlight Destiny
Sailor Moon jokes aside, this one feels more at home as an anime movie ending theme, not really an Aikatsu hit.
6.2/10

Be Star
A very contemporary song with a seriously high rank performance, perfect intro for Hibiki.
8.9/10

Idol Activity Rock Version
A new take on a classic and it works so much better.
8.8/10

End
