Capriceum Casino announced a casino sale in the UK after purchasing debt for just over $11 million under a Coventry casino lease. The casino was sold to Rank Group for $940,000. With the sale, Capriceum ended its only international operations to focus on domestic operations. Capri Island owns and operates 18 locations in the United States and has riverboat and land casinos in Colorado, Florida, Iowa, Louisiana, Mississippi and Missouri.
"We do not expect the impact of the closure felt by our employees or customers as the property will continue to operate under the management of one of the best gaming companies in the UK," said Don Mitchell, Ireland's senior vice president.
"We have built a great facility in Coventry to take advantage of changes in UK gaming laws that have not occurred, and we have executed this agreement to substantially mitigate the negative financial impact that is expected to occur if we continue to operate the facility in the future." 바다이야기
