We lost power last night. Around 8:30 PM or so.

Let's make one thing clear: I can't live very long without electricity. Not only do i have a fear of the dark, but no power also means no computer. No WiFi. No TheO or Tumblr.
That alone will probably drive me insane in a matter or days.
Anyways, the weird thing was it only effected, like, 7 houses on our street. I mean, our next-door neighbors had power, but we didn't. Talk about unfair.
So my dad called the electric company, and they said they'd get to it as soon as they could.
Turns out that was 2:30 AM.
Yep. At 2:30, i was woken up by the sounds of an enormous truck. Then, the electric guys proceeded to begin chopping down the huge bush in our front yard, since that was where the electric source(????) was. (the guy who lived in this house before us apparently planted a huge ton of stuff right over the electrical thing-y.)
And that didn't make a lot of noise, or anything. NOT.
I wasn't sleeping anyways, on account of the AC not working, and it was 90+ degrees in the house.
So I'd spent the last few hours reading by the light of my Flashlite App on my iPod. And everyone laughed when i bought that. Who's laughing now?!
So finally, at 3:30 AM, the power came back on. This, for me, caused such joy that has not been seen since the fall of the Berlin Wall. (A.K.A, i was very, very happy.)
Now I must go check out Tumblr.....
