sorry i havn't posted in a while. i'd like to say it was because of my terribly busy social life, but since i don't have a social life (outside of my friends) i can't.
Today i was eating a banana. It was actually kind of gross. I mean, it had lots of brown spots and mush everywhere... ugh. So anyways while i was eating it i went online to check my email and, while i was doing that, i bit down on my tongue instead of the banana. REALLY HARD. Seriously. Becuase i am a total spaz, i shreiked, dropped my banana, and ran to the bathroom to see if it was bleeding. Then, when i saw that it was,(just a tiny bit-like a spot) i shreiked again. Thank God i was home alone, or else everyone would have thought someone was breaking into our house.
See?? That's what i get for eating healthy. I was all, "no, Kaly, don't eat that brownie. Eat a nice banana instead. It's healthier." And what did it get me??? Nothing but a cut tongue and a screaming fit. *sigh*
I'm getting braces!!!!!!!!!!!!!! in like 2 weeks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And i just found out today!!!! So today i went to my orthodontist for a check-up to see if i needed braces(i only found out i was going last night;thanks, mom.) So i was in that weird soft swively dentist chair thingy, all relaxed, when this happened:
O(orthodontist): well Kaly, now i'm just going to have a look at your teeth. open wide!
K(Kaly): ok *opens mouth*
O: hmmm... *pokes a lot of sharp metal objects in my mouth*
K: nrghrh (can't talk because of strange metal objects)
O: looks okay... oh! theres something here...
K: nrghrh?!
O: all right! *finishes* Now kaly, some of your teeth are a bit crooked. this is probably caused by...
K: (this is the part where i zone out as he goes on and on about my teeth for roughly 10 min.)
O: ...and that's why i think you'll need braces!
K: WHAT??!!
(then i had to listen while he went on and on about what i'll need to do when i get braces and all that for another 30 minutes.)
I can't believe it!!!!!!! i mean, BRACES!!!! i get freaked out when i have a loose tooth!! Also, there are lots of things you can't eat with braces, such as:
- popcorn (only one of my favorite foods EVER!! i mean, what am going to do when i go to the movies?)
- Doritos (another one of my favorite junk foods)
- Chicken wings (i love these so much)
- apples (at least, not whole ones)
- any chewy candy (Sweedish Fish! Gummy Bears! Caramel! all gone!!)
- gum
And much, much more! plus, i'm not allowed to drink alot of sugary drinks. Usually, this would be fine, considering that i don't like soda. But what, i ask you, am i going to do about apple juice? and lemonade? i drink them only about every day! *sigh* this isn't going to be easy.... i better drink a ton now, before my favorite foods are taken away from me.
I am soooooooo excited for Christmas!!! I get like this every year,all hyped up and excited and spending a lot of time on the internet looking for gift ideas ^^. In fact, every single Christmas Eve night, i get so excited that i can't even sleep. Seriously. Like, I don't sleep 1 minute from the time i go to bed until Christmas Day. Of course, i don't sleep much anyways...
Yesterday we got our Christmas tree!!!!! It's fake, though, so it's the same one we had last year. I kinda wish we had a real tree, because our fake one just looks too... perfect. Plus, if we had a real one, our house would smell nice 
.
I'm very tired right now, having stayed up extremly late the night before. My little sister was at a sleepover last night, so I got to stay up late watching TV and eating ice cream, yay. Then, when i finally went upstairs, i stayed up reading until i passed out fell asleep from exaustion.
