I recently joined Fanpop just for the hell of it. The school network kept blocking it, so I was curious. I joined a Gorillaz fanclub after I made my account, and started browsing through my fellow fan's activity. Some guy was apparently convinced that 2d and Murdoc were lovers. What the crap?! Lovers?! They aren't even friends! They have pretty much the same relationship as Homestar Runner and Strongbad, and if you told me that Homestar and Strongbad were lovers, I would ask you in a polite but firm manner what sort of weed you had been smoking. I'm sorry to be ranty and crazy about this, but that's stupid. Look, at least with the people who think 2d and Noodle are lovers, I get where they're coming from, but Murdoc? Really? If you love somebody, you do not crash a car into them, gas them and ship them in a wooden crate to your hideout for your own nefarious purposes, insult them and try to kill them on a daily basis... Plus, Murdoc doesn't love anyone but himself. We know that. Come on. Again, excuse me for ranting, but it's been on my mind and I had to tell somebody. Thank you.
