Leonides was freaking out. The monsters were all gone, but Tsukino had not woken up. He stood in front of her determined to protect her until he could think of some way to solve the predicament they were currently in. Like how Chero was possibly in danger…and how they were sort of stuck back in the past…
“More books?” Kiki sighed as she entered the room.
“KIKI!” Leonides cried, pointing at her.
Kiki stared at him, her eyes wide in fright and surprise.
“You’ve got to help me!” he pleaded.
“You’re Chero’s idiot teacher, aren’t you?” Kiki asked.
Leon crumpled to the floor dramatically, “Honestly I just came out to have here to have a good time and I feel so attacked.”
Kiki stared at the overly dramatic man, not impressed. She glanced passed him to see a young woman passed out on the ground, “Is that Chero’s big sister?”
“Errr…weeeeeeeeeeelllllll, you see….it’s kind of a funny story,” Leonides laughed nervously.
“Go on…”
Leonides explained their entire timeline and how they needed to go back to the future and needed Kiki’s help to do so.
Kiki’s eyes narrowed, “You want me to waste my powers on what could in fact be a lie? How can I even trust you?”
“You have to believe me! This timeline is doomed!”
Kiki clenched her fists, “To you this is the past. This is a doomed timeline. But to me it is the present, the only time I have. I can’t just waste our only hope just like that.”
“So…you won’t help me?”
“KIKI!” Mocha called from the hall.
“I won’t. I have to go,” she said, leaving him behind.
“Noooo! That was our only chance!” Leon whined.
“What am I going to do now?” Leon asked himself, scratching his chin with his staff.
“Hmm…..”
A light bulb suddenly went off in his head, “Ah! Wait! I am a mage! I just need Chero’s spell book!”
He carefully maneuvered Tsukino onto his back, “Hang in there Tsukino…I will get us home…”
